Compared to bluelabs, this is a much cheaper alternative.

I RLY had my doubts buying this one, but it has proved itself. It measures accurate, works as it should. I'm impressed. Cant speak for longevity, but so far, it's still going. :)

Good Quality at a Great Price

Most importantly the probe arrived with the storage solution not dried up. When I buy the brand name Milwaukee probes half the time the storage solution is dried and the probe is unusable. This probe was not. It was well packaged to prevent storage solution loss. Calibrated it with the included calibrators and it works like a charm for almost half the price. What more could you ask for. Gonna buy another to have a spare on hand.

You have to use the buffer solutions in non-metallic container.

I'm not a chemist. I had setup to use Cupcake holder for multiple water samples. It is metal. Thats apparently bad. Need to use plastic or glass. Can't calibrate with distilled water and vinegar. Apparently the easily cross contaminate, but maybe it was bc I was still using metal sample containers. Anyway, once in glass and using the buffer powders the results are very close to published pH for the buffers. So now I'm happy but I had to learn a few things first.

Good price, not so great at holding calibration

Looks and functions just like the name brand except for the accuracy. Approximately a week after calibration(twice) it shows .3-.5 off of true ph reading

Excellent value because of the low cost

Cheap probe, does exactly as advertised. Use with atlas scientififc ph circuit. Its accurate within specifications but cheap construction, I dont anticipate this probe lasting longer than a year but for $17 you could by 3 and still be cheaper than most probes

Very Accurate - Need more Instructions

When calibrating the solution pH readings fluctuated by several thousandths. Well within my accuracy needs. I found it easy to calibrate with 4, 7, and 10 standard solutions; although, it would be easier if better instructions were included with the probe.Just to make sure I did the calibration correctly, I used the CAL,Mid,7; CAL,High,10; CAL,Low,4, in this order. Is this correct? It was the python sample code from atlas scientific I used to submit the i2c commands. Is this correct? OR Do you have another way to calibrate?
