Feels super solid and is only as big as it needs to be which is great for packing and traveling!

Small size makes this case great. Easily fits the Mavic 2 with three extra batteries, controller, and space for spare props and filters. Super portability and I'm sure this case is pretty durable and can withstand some decent abuse. I wouldn't even think of testing water resistance as I do not think this would be waterproof by any means. But okay, it keeps the rain off the drone. Great to tote around such a small form case. Much better than the fly more case DJI provides.UPDATE: Unfortunately I'm going to recommend steering clear of this product. Within weeks the first clasp (plastic) broke and shortly thereafter the clasp on the opposite side broke in the very exact same place. Poor quality. Now the only way to keep the case closed is by threading through twist ties at the holes on both corners. This is NOT what was desired or paid for. And it is almost guaranteed that you will experience the same at some point if you already own this or are thinking of buying it. So safe yourself the hassle. Don't buy it.2nd update!!!!! After the failure of the first set of clasps the company acknowledged their flaw and immediately sent a new set to me overnight. I've been using the new set now for several months and can attest that this fully and completely corrected the problem. I once again can easily recommend this case with the new clasps! Buy it! You won't regret it.

I've owned several cases for different drones and action cameras over the years and this one is one of the best. Some manufacturers cut corners by using cheap foam, not gluing the foam to the case, and just making a cheap case in general. This case is none of those things. The hard shell case is sturdy and feels well made. The latches make me feel like my drone is secure and will not fall out. The foam insert is well made and cut just right for your drone and accessories. Not to tight and not to loose, just right. I can latch the case, toss this in my vehicle and know that when I arrive my drone and all my accessories are safe and ready to go. I love this case.

I put my Mavic 2 Pro in this case, its a perfect fit - I was reading some reviews that said otherwise, so I wanted to put in my two cents. The case is not as burly as military spec Pelican case, but, I dont plan on throwing this thing off of a cliff. Its smaller than I thought, but a perfect fit for everything I need (I can easily throw this thing in my 40L backpack if I needed.For the price, I think its a must have for anyone with a drone.

THIS CASE IS AN AMAZING VALUE. Drones are expensive and I know people want to protect their investment. I saw all the cases for tripple this case's price and I just looked at all the photos and this case seemed to be just as good as those cases. When I opened the box and picked up this case I immediately knew it was good quality. This thing has a rock solid build! The latch is rock solid! The precuts are great. There is absolutely no reason to buy a case that's over $100 when you can get this one for just $40. Those ones over $100 are a complete rip off. If you're thinking hey I want to spend more money for a better case and peace of mind you are dead wrong in this case. This is absolutely a great deal. Will recommend to everyone I know that has a mavic 2 pro. Also pick up a pair of extended landing gear you'll thank me later. The only thing that I might do that all the cases seem to lack is better bottom cushioning. I'm going to throw down one or two layers of bubble wrap for added insurance.

V 2.0: Manufacturer contacted me after the poor qualification and offered to send a replacement latch. They did (took long) and the results are good. They changed the material for a more flexible and less breakable. Now my case is awesome.This was my original comment:V 1.0: At the beginning I was extremely happy with the case. It looked like a Pelikan and the interior cuttings fit the drone, RC and batteries perfectly. But after a month of extreme care and gentle use (I even carry it in a backpack) the plastic lock broke. The material is rigid and seems fragile, which is not supposed to be for the task it must perform. I don't think Smatree sells spare parts so I'll tray to have someone machine a replacement maybe on alloy.
