Charging as shown in the image with different colours. Quality and performance of charging is good. Battery gets little heated but it's fine as even phone gets heat post charging. Recommend to change only upto 80-90% (turn off in 15 mins post colour change to green for reduced heat)

It has a smart system to show battery status: red for 0-20%, yellow for 20-80%, green for 80-100%, and grey when fully charged. This makes it very easy to see how much charge your batteries have.The batteries, they do get a bit warm while charging, but that seems normal only. Overall, the charger works well and is very reliable. It’s a good choice if you need a fast and simple charger. Price is bit high as compared to other chargers but it’s worth it.

Eventhoug its costly but worth product

Hello, everyone.So, here's my review of the Panasonic Battery Eneloop BQ-CC17E/B Advanced Battery charger (...that's a way too long name actually, so lets just keep it as Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC17 Charger).A few months ago, I was looking for a good battery to go with my Apple Magic Mouse (as, the previous one's weren't available anywhere anymore), I went for rechargeable batteries because, I could use them again and again without needing for a replacement anytime sooner than, a few years. I choose the Panasoinc Eneloop Pro batteries (they were ranked as one of the best rechargeable batteries ever!!), so obviously, I needed a charger to go with them.And, the most obvious choice to me was to buy one from Panasoinc, I came up to this model after some research on the internet. This is especially good to be used with Panasonic's Eneloop series rechargeable batteries.So, I bought this BQCC17 model (seller: CLOUDTAIL INDIA PRIVATE LTD.) along with the batteries (unfortunately, at the time of buying, the Eneloop Pro batteries were out of stock on amazon, so, I had to buy them on flipkart...) anyway, let's just get into the experience so far, shall we??As I expected, this charger is really really reliable for the work they are meant for, and I was especially pleased with it's build quality....As I mentioned above, I use it with the 2 pairs of Eneloop Pro batteries I have, for my Magic Mouse.So how does it charges then?Well, here's how: this particular charger can charge each individual cells at the same time, meaning no matter, if you charge 1,2, 3 or for 4, any combination at a time, it will finish charging them at the same time...Simply put, you can charge, single cells at a time.In my experience, I charged 2 cells at a time, and on average, it took me around, 8 and a 1/2 hours to charge the batteries fully.(To mention, I didn't fully discharged the batteries, they were somewhat at 15 some percent when I took them for charging.)I usually leave it for charging overnight, before I go to sleep, and wake up in the morning to see fully charged batteries ready for use.It has internally built LED indicators, which will light up when you connect it to the power outlet, and show the status of charging. No, they don't blink, but after it has done charging the batteries, the LED's will go off and charging stops (a pretty safe feature, in my opinion, so, you don't overcharge anything).One, other thing I will recommend too, is to read the instructions manual, it has graphic representations of how to put in the batteries and all that, there it states that to charge AA cells of 2450-2500 mah, it should take around 9 hours average, and I found that's pretty close to considering what my real-world charging time was! Another good thing about it.So, what's the bottom line then?Well, I will, obviously recommend this charger to anyone, especially shopping for Eneloop series's rechargeable batteries, cause this truly is their best option.Also, I think they should work just fine with any other NI-MH rechargeable batteries too (if, you are wondering).That's it for me, hope this helps you make your purchase decision easier and if you have already purchased it, then you have made a good investment for sure!(One, thing I forgot to mention before is that, I think the prongs are detachable, although, I haven't tried to remove it myself, but I think they are detachable, search it on the internet.)Here's some pictures...

The media could not be loaded. This is a DC Input charger, So a 5V USB Phone charger is required. Charger uses a micro USB port as input.The charger supports both AA and AAA batteries. The batteries should be charged as a pair (2 cells or 4 cells).LED indications:Charging - solid greenFully charged - LED offBattery issue- LED blinksSince this is not an AC charger you can charge these eneloop cells on any USB charging ports, Like power banks, Phone chargers, desktop, laptop etcI have made a mistake on pairing this up with eneloop pro cells. This USB charger will only charge batteries upto 2000mAh(Normal eneloop cells) whereas eneloop pro cells are 2450mAh capacity cells.The charging cable seems ok-ish.Edit: I have indeed charged Eneloop pro cells upto 1.45V along with duracell AAA cells and Eveready(800mah) AA and AAA cells. All working good.The charger also have a 1A resetable fuse inside for safety. Highly recommended.

Battery life as per Panasonic is 10 years. But the charger itself stopped working in 2 years. Hardly 5-6 times it was used for charging. I bought it with the understanding that it would be economical in long run against normal batteries. Lost 1000 Rs straight in charger and 2500 Rs batteries are of no use now. Total lost Rs 3500.
