I've had it awhile and has caused no issues.
I've had it now for many months. It's gone the distance so far and every nerd should have one of these.

Astonishing Value
Amazed that any country could make this thing for under $300! Fine finishing, great design, works exactly as advertised.Checked against another standard and it really is accurate to about .0005 inches. Holds its zero for repeated on/off cycles, even reads negative numbers if screwed down too hard. Embarrassing to buy it at this price. Nigglings: Mine does not have the data port shown in the instructions, and they do not explain what "ABS" function actually is for.

Missing data port all together
Seems pretty accurate however mine is missing the data port all together and I didn't get an accuracy report. Did I receive old stock or what's going on?#7 in the instructions. Missing totally on mine
