They're a bit like 3D fidget spinners - nice just to play with when you're thinking or mulling something over. The small cone is my favourite. The pyramid and cylinder don't move quite as freely, though I'm pretty sure that's because they're new and the intersecting faces will get smoother with use over time.N.B. I bought them for me, so I can say with authority that the toys were 'suitable for the selected age', (64!).

Bought them for a xmas pressie for my son. Out of all of their presents, my daughter said she wanted them the most (doh). Christmas could have been so cheap! Even my ex-husband couldn't stop twiddling with them on Christmas day. What's not to love?

The media could not be loaded. These are some fun, 3D printed geometric manipulatives. There are 3 objects, each comprises 2 interlocking pieces. There is a cylinder, a pyramid and a cone. The 2 interact through rotational motion but this can be forced to happen by linear motion. Actually, these models could easily be used to demonstrate and explain how its possible to convert between linear and rotational forces so this might suit a physics teacher.Educational value aside these are just nice fidget toys which look pretty cool. They are 3 D printed from plastic and s the finish is somewhat "homemade". The texture causes some friction that interferes with the movement on the cylinder and there are some very fine plastic fibres hanging off here and there as a byproduct of the process.At time of writing, they were only about £7 which I think is pretty good value for 3 models. These will sit on my desk at work.

Reading some of the reviews made it sound like these were a rough construction, but the engineering was good - present for a friend. Checked to make sure that they worked before wrapping and found them to be absolutely perfect. These shapes look good and are pretty amazing the way they glide over their 'buddy'.

Sadly the plastic is too thin on the tree and so due to its need to move it’s not strong enough and has snapped pretty quickly. That’s the one my boy wanted the most too so he’s pretty sad.

This trio of fidget toys is supplied in a small, plain, white card box - sadly, with no coloured illustrations or information which would make this set a more attractive gift for someone.Having seen some similar 3D-printed fidget toys around in the office, my first impression was that these were somewhat roughly made. Only one of the toys slid though the other part without getting stuck ... or perhaps getting them to slide properly is part of the fun...?After working them back and forth many times to remove burrs from the plastic, I gave up and passed the set over to our son - who then spent several hours working on them before they would slide through each other smoothly. A pity... because these are bright and attractive small toys which would be SO much more interesting if only they operated smoothly.
