Have wanted 1 of these for years.With everything now being a mix of SAE and metric its kind of hard to just look at a nut or bolt and correctly call out the thread pitch.Don't have to take hardware with me to the store to insure I get the right thing the first time.Also helps when ordering hardware online (Amazon).Really like the design of this.Easy to read/use.Friends that see this on the side of my toolbox really like it too.Would be nice to get a referral for them.Referral or not, does feel good that my friends would be getting something that's worthwhile.

The quality of this item surprised me, just feeling the weight of the box told me this item was built to last! I tried a few standard and metric nuts and bolts on it and they all threaded in/on smoothly, this was a very pleasent surprise for such a low cost item. It's solidy built, does what its supposed to do; it even looks good, and should last a lifetime.

These are nice! The case and the pieces themselves are quality.Do I need these? No, but they will save me time and money from having to drive to the nearest hardware store to find the correct size. More than half the time, Home Depot doesn’t have it and I end up having to order the part on Amazon anyway and having this would give me the comfort and accuracy to find THE nut, bolt, and thread from the convenience of my garage.To have this set of tools is what every DIY person needs. I could have used this two weeks ago looking for an adapter thread and bolt size on my transmission cooler when I was switch to AN lines. Of course I had to have the gambit of sizes on hand only to find out I had none of them. It took me an extra two days just to find the correct size. Once this tool arrive I confirmed the size I needed, I indeed already put in. The point it, it would have been out at ease sooner. I got this just for giggles and now I regret not having it in my garage to begin with.From one DIY to another, get one. You won’t regret it and at these low prices, now is a good time to get a set.

This bolt thread finder is a total lifesaver in the garage. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wasted time guessing thread sizes — not anymore! This is a very solid piece of gear. I had been expecting something much flimsier, with thin metal, but this unit is quite the opposite. I even has 4 silicone feet on it so that it doesn't mar the surface it's sitting on, which is good because of how heavy it is, and I mean that in a good way. This thing will last me forever!I am very impressed and happy with it!

Product arrived fast.Small enough, doesn't take up space on my wall.Very helpful on finding out bolt/nut sizes.

I love the quality of this item. It has made my life easier, mainly to determine if I needed a metric or standard replacement nut or bolt. So many American vehicles using metric nowadays. This allows me to start threading my used part (easily) and if it's not the same, it will only screw on or in a short distance. Don't force it. If it's correct, it will just glide super easy. If it jams, unscrew and go to the other type. Great quality and mounts easily on a wall.

Very nice and well made. From the pictures it looks aluminum but is actually steel and quite solid.
