Much better than the forehead scan type I had previously (different brand). This is accurate and my kids (2 and 3 year old) hold still and actually really like it too.

I bought this to use on my (veterinary) patients at work in a FearFree environment. I’m absolutely thrilled that this reads an ear temp in 1-2 seconds. This has been a lifesaver especially when treating pets that hate their ears/face being touched.I keep this in my scrub pocket, so I often pull it out and it has switched to Celsius yet again. But it’s easy to change it back to Fahrenheit, simply hold the button down until it flashes the desired setting. Other than the seriously fast reading, my other favorite feature is that it displays the last temp read. Once again, a lifesaver for a busy vet tech on the go!

The read is almost instant and very easy to use. Seems to be pretty accurate as well. The only thing I don’t like is that it will not work with out a cover on it. I’m all for a cover but it would be nice to have the option. But overall I’d say it’s worth the money.

I’m the mom who wants to know everyone in the house exact temp several times a day when someone is sick. Braun is the brand I have found that works the most reliably. I can check every family member within minutes. (Someone posted a review showing errors, but she was not using it properly) it’s easy to use. Push once to turn on, wait for the beep. Insert in the ear and push to test the temp. Wait for the ready beep to test another person. This takes less than 15 seconds total. Very fast. I’m buying a second one for the upstairs.

The media could not be loaded. BUYER BEWARE - Hands down this is the most horrible thermometer I’ve ever encountered. Save your money bec you’ll just have to buy another one after this one. Surprisingly this comes from Braun, which usu is a trusted name, but I’ll never buy their products again bec of this product.It does not work reliably. I press once and I get an Errr message. I wait and wait (while my kids temperature is soaring to hospital levels) and press again and another error. Repeat again and again, turn off, short press on the button, long press - nothing has any rhyme or reason. And it constantly keeps getting stuck in Celsius until I can look up instructions for how to get back to Fahrenheit. Finally get it to work and get one ear done then it’s back to Errr message. OMG.Absolutely the worst, most obnoxious thermometer - for something so simple and important!!

This thermometer came in handy as my son would only allow me to take his temperature from his ear. When he has a fever it turns red and gives us the reading. Im shocked at its accuracy. Great value for the money and fast speed results. This has been a major help. Great quality!

Not very accurate. Should have returned it while I had the chance. It’s ok but the reading can be spotty. Spend more and get a better one.
