Real review
Very good the only issue i had was getting band clip back on and the shaft for exhaust fan a little longer had to bend fan shroud a bit because fan was hitting when heavy loads. The motor is a bit more compact also

Would buy again
Fit well and works well so far, easy to install. Only been in use about a week but would buy again. Much cheaper than a new dryer

New Motor = New Dryer!
The fix our old dryer needed. We shopped for a dryer after ours kept powering off and the new models all seemed cheap and flimsy. After making the mistake with going with new (with horrible Samsung appliances) verses repairing the old, we bit the bullet and did our own repair. The dryer is working better than it has in years.

Shaft is too short and it cannot work with my Whirlpool Gold Dryer. Turns on ok.
FIT issues. Motor works fine (it turns on) with my Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II Dryer -- the only problem is the pulley side of the motor shaft is too short. It does not align with my drum tensioner. So, the belt will not stay on line and it cannot work. I'm going to try and make my own cuts in the bottom shell and move my tensioner closer. Beware!! This claims it has an improved shaft but it is too short. Measure your old motor from the mount to the pulley (it has 4 threads to line up with the ribs on the belt) and make sure it is the short one that you have.

Sloppy assembly: collars on wrong ends!! No belt switch wiring.
The collars that engage the motor mounting bracket are identical to the original motor that I removed, but they had been ASSEMBLED ON THE WRONG ENDS!!! And, after I realized I had to swap them, one of the collars was improperly aligned so the rubber dampening ring notches wouldn’t put the“key“ in the right position. In the pic #1 you’ll see the plastic “key” of the original motor that is on the BLOWER END, but on the replacement motor, that collar was placed at the drive belt end! Maybe I got a single manufacturing defect but there couldn’t have been adequate quality control inspection for such an obvious defect. The seller repeated that I should follow online videos more closely, but these are clear and show the key on the blower end, not like on this replacement motor. Also, many dryers, including mine, have a “broken belt switch“ which will interrupt the motor if the tension pulley is not retained by the belt. This replacement motor doesn’t have any connections for this switch, unlike the motor I removed (pic #2, blue arrow; T=thermal fuse, also NOT on this replacement). I was able to incorporate the belt switch by putting in series with the motor winding connector on the replacement. The seller pointed out that they have two versions of this motor, although the OEM number is the same and care is needed because the list of model numbers is incomplete. Consider contacting the seller with your actual model number before ordering, and hope for response. Note that the pictures of the wiring harness in the listings of both versions are identical and neither supports dryers with a belt switch.Pic #3, of original electrical harness may be useful: red wires on either end of the connector are the centrifugal switch to pass power through to the heating element only when the motor is running. The green/yellow wire is ground; the white/brown wire is likely to the starting motor winding (when a motor needs an extra kick to get going), blue wire passes through the belt switch in accompanying blue wires to the thermal fuse (red “T” in pic #3) to the main motor windings.Addendum, 9/17/24: puxyblue, the maker as compared to the seller I think, offered a full refund to stand by their product. Hopefully, I got an isolated manufacturing error with mounting collars swapped, so you can get a good replacement product, if you submit your model number in advance for compatibility, and are prepared to deal with the lack of belt switch connection. Increasing the rating to 4 stars is, perhaps, giving the benefit of the doubt, but respecting the maker’s desire to stand by their product.

Great replacement
Worked perfectly.

Keeps A Kenmore Going
Works as it should. Easy to install but I would recommend getting new parts for everything else as well. You have to take the dryer apart anyway so might as well replace the pulley, belt and thermostat.
