Worth a try if you think your car will accept a bath.
Bought as I’ve two fluffy ginger kittens who were having noticeable problems with fleas. Combing them wasn’t helping and I noticed fleas at the base of the back of one kitten’s ear. Something more had to be done and this product was my next step.I’ve never bathed a cat before but being young kittens I thought this was my chance to introduce them to water and condition them to accept future baths too.The product has a pleasant smell. The kittens accepted the procedure very well considering. I could see several fleas through their fur as I used the shampoo - many more than I’d realised they’d had. The fleas rarely dislodged with rinsing but at least they weren’t moving. I did notice some fleas attempted to crawl into kitties’ ears or generally their faces…. So I gently dabbed a soapy finger on them which seemed to stop them… but being careful not to get any into the eyes, nose, mouth or ears of my kittens. When drying the kittens I could see non moving fleas within the fur and they would not come out easily with combing. Not all fleas were killed but some were and the shampoo definitely slowed the others down. I was able to comb a few out and dispatch them.My kittens have had two baths over two days now as I noticed more fleas on them. I actually think the Neem oil residue from the shampoo is meaning fleas hop on but can’t settle in the same way and are therefore more visible to me.Combined with vacuuming, laundering bedding and other sprays for upholstery I should start to see an improvement… but due to the flea’s life cycle I expect to see more fleas and I’ll just try to be more vigilant and proactive in helping to halt a bigger problem developing.I live in the countryside so fleas are always a potential issue.Alone this product is unlikely to cure the problem but it can certainly help to get the flea problem under control.Having a nice smelling, clean kitten is also a bonus. Some people have raised concern with the Neem oil content. I was careful to not use too much product (a little can go a long way) and avoid getting in the their ears, eyes, nose and mouth. Unfortunately it’s the Neem oil that also works to help get rid of the fleas. Ideally it’s a case of trying to find the balance of enough to kill the flea but not affect the cat in any way. Some vets have apparently also said that using a shampoo like this is stripping the cats’ natural oils from their coats. As I used this with kittens I’m keeping a close eye to see if they appear to be experiencing any side effects but none so far…Rinse well and dry well, keep them warm and comb them through if you can.I’m not sure it would be so easy to use with my older shorthair, dark furred cats as the dark fleas would be much harder to see and they would be much harder to hold.

Good size bottle
Left the cats smelling lovely ,very soft and now they look like black pom pom balls 😅 great to use as just shampoo so for it to work on flee removal is a bonus ,good price as it will last for a long time, everything in 1 bottle so couldn't be happier

Smells lovely.
Smells lovely, like baby powder. The cat doesn't seem to mind it either, and he smelled gorgeous for days. It's OK for getting small knots in the fur out but as for the stubborn ones you got no chance. My Cat ended up in the groomers.

Gentle and effective
Thank you so much for such a lovely product. My cat is normally very timid and I was anxious that she would hate having a bath but she seemed to find this shampoo really soothing on her skin and calmed right down. 3 fleas came off in the water and actually burst so I’m confident it has gotten rid of any pests. She’s happily licking herself dry now. 😊👍🐱🐾

Left my cat's furs feeling super soft and smelling lovely
I can't speak for how effective it is for flea and ticks but I used it for the first time today on my two cats. I've used the no-rinse 2in1 shampoo and conditioner by this same brand before and I wanted to give this a try. It has a nice subtle scent to it which isn't overpowering at all. It left both my cats with super soft and fluffy fur.Pro tip: if it's your first time bathing a cat that doesn't like to be bathed, it helps when you fill the bath tub or massive bowl full of water mixed with the shampoo. I then put my cat in there and massage the shampoo water into their fur. I also add a few concentrated pumps of the shampoo directly onto their fur and lather it up. I find it easy to then rinse out the shampoo with water. After a successful first use of this shampoo, I definitely will be incorporating it into my cat's monthly washing routine.Just for a bit of background; my cats are indoor cats and they are usually very clean. Up until this point I've been giving them water-only baths monthly, and I've been using the no-rinse 2in1 shampoo and conditioner by the same brand, in between the monthly water baths. But I feel that with this shampoo, dirt and things like flea and ticks will more likely to be removed, than with just water alone.

DO NOT POISON YOUR CAT WITH THIS SHAMPOO
DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR CATWe have recently bought this product to use on our two kitties. We have used as per direction of a ‘no rinse’. One of my cats groomed herself and ended up getting poisoned by this product. NEEM OIL is toxic for cats when consumed and this should not be sold.We ended up spending £500 at the vets to give her the care she needed following the use of this product. If you want to keep your pets safe do not use any products from this brand and check all ingredients for cat toxicity when under consumption!!!!!!
