In Synology I Trust
Great drive. I have a DS224+ NAS and the 4TB is enough for what I need now. I will upgrade to an 8tb at a later date. I know Synology are changing their compatibility lists, but honestly, using these drives just fit and accommodate the ecosystem well.Not a lot more to say honestly, does as it says. Specifications and descriptions outline what you should expect.Nothing more, nothing less.I’ve never had a problem with Synology products, been using them for years. Even if I ever had an issue, Customer Service quickly helped accommodate and resolved any queries I had.

Happy with my purchase
Bought for my Synology NAS.... I now have 2 certified 4Tb to replace my WD Red drives which were not.

Not recognised by Synology as a compatible device
It will take approximately 20 hours for my device to get back to normal after swapping out this drive, but I am not expecting any nasty surprises.One complaint I did have, is that my Prime "next day" delivery actually took two days. Not happy about that.Also, the drive only shows up as 5.5 TB, but that's to be expected against capacity sizes.

Not much to say except for my DS223 Synology found it straight away and has been working perfectly since and isn’t to noisy.

bought the slower drives for a quieter operating system as NAS is in living room ,Mine are very quiet even when setting up my new NAS with lots of file transfers etc etcWent for the 8TB drives as i plan to edit all my photos and videos to HD formatsvery well boxed for transport

Used for home use, Installed this drive with a Synology NAS enclosure and the combination is fast transfer speeds, recommended drive.

Absolutely fine. It's apparently a re-badged WD or Seagate, but supported by Synology and additional firmware updates available.
