CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30-36-36-76 1.40V Intel XMP Desktop Computer Memory - Black (CMK32GX5M2B6000C30)

I am building a workstation computer from scratch to primarily run Solidworks 3D CAD (computer aided design) and wanted it to be as powerful as possible for the lowest reasonable cost. I try and go for products that represent the “knee” in the price-performance curve. For example, you are generally far better off getting something that at half the price that might only perform at 90% of the device costing twice as much. Frequently the difference is only in milliseconds, which you will never notice. I also look for products that are from reputable manufactures and have received decent reviews. This Cosair Vengeance 32 GB RAM was part of my build and meets the above criteria.

I purchased this RAM because of the low CAS latency and I could not be happier with the results because, applications load faster, files open faster, and my computer reacts faster to my inputs. Going from RAM that was clocked at 32-40-40-104 to 30-36-36-76 makes a huge difference even if you are going from 64GB-DDR5-6400MHZ to 32GB-DDR5-6000MHZ because of the clock speed. I would highly recommend this RAM to anyone who wants computer RAM that is fast, efficient, and worth the money. The installation was easy, the compatibility was not any issue, and, it looks great due to the no RGB design. The RAM fit perfectly into my Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Pro X motherboard.

Bought these to go with my 4090 OC and it's all been great. A couple times I've topped 34/35gbs of usage in games so it's been great having these.

The memory boards seems to work as advertised

I seem to have misjudged this RAM so I have edited my review. Giving it a solid 4/5 stars for a number of reasons. Number 1: XMP. This feature does NOT run out of the box on windows 11. I was only able to use XMP after I happened to install a corsair app called iCue for my RGB fan setup. Buried in the menus was a section for RAM, and to my luck, this app also generated a useable XMP profile for this RAM kit. My main question is, why is this step necessary? A ram kit should have an XMP profile ready to go. Minus 1 star.That being said, once I configured my RGB lights and set an XMP profile, I was able to go into the UEFI (bios) and use the AI Tweaker to manually set the DRAM frequency to 6000 mt/s. An incredibly roundabout process but all that being said, this RAM kit will eventually run just fine at its advertised speed of 6000 mt/s.Buy this if you are familiar with BIOS settings and using silly third party apps to run your components.
