Great product to help create a healthier soil. Good value for the money.

We sprinkled this all over our front garden while planting in the spring and it did an incredible job of helping with our moisture / soil density issues that we have from a VERY clay-heavy yard. I will be purchasing this again in the spring because it worked really well and we want to add it to the garden on the other side of our house.

If you do not need pelletized gypsum for larger projects, this item is a very good choice.

I gave this a 3 because I honestly don’t know yet if it works. I added this to my contractor compacted construction soil that was rocky, hard packed clay. I’ve been adding amendments (manure, compost, guano, worms) for years which means the top 16” is amazing and my annuals & bulbs look great, but anything that needs to be dug deeper struggles when it’s roots hit the rocky clay (and it’s like digging cement). I read that adding gypsum could break up the clay & help the compost & manure to penetrate. Tilled into the soil & watered & also added directly to new holes for perennials. Supposedly takes multiple applications (Spring & Fall) but I’m hoping it will start to make a difference!!

This Gypsum is wonderful for my roses. It is easy to pour for measuring and is odorless. THe Order process was easy, and shipping was fast!
