Buffalo Games - Planted

I have been waiting to play this game for a while. I was a little worried it might be a little contrived, but it absolutely lives up to my best expectations. I love the little game pieces, which I think are much better than they need to be at this price point, which is great added value. The game is fun to play and it's pretty quick. You build your garden and tend to it in 4 rounds. It does have some strategy, but nothing too difficult. Great artwork, sturdy boards, lovely pieces!

Planted is easily taught and learned, plays well for two to three players but has room for more!Great bits with multiple ways to score points set this game apart from other drafting and set collecting games. The beautiful art and details about the plants you are collecting Andy growing make playing Planted great even if you don't have a green thumb! Highly recommend it for a nice casual game that's easily picked up and played in under an hour.

I love this game! It is easy to learn, fast-paced and much more high quality than I anticipated. The resources are high quality and plastic or wooden and are very satisfyingly weighty. If you like plants or cute things or things that are aesthetically pleasing, you won't be disappointed!

Quick, beautiful, and exquisitely detailed. Planted is easy to understand and fun to play. This drafting game is worthy of any board game collection and is great for kids with an interest in plants.

This is a really well thought out game! Our family loves it-guys and gals! The pieces and board are all well made. Definitely give this game a try!

Great for our plant-loving family of a range of ages! The young ones (ages 7 and 9) picked this game up the first go around (they likened it to Sushi Go meets Wingspan). The cards are interesting to plant lovers - I find myself owning most of the plants and pining for the few I don't have. But the game also appeals to those who don't love plants and just enjoy a good game.The tokens (sun, water, plant food, etc) are well made and a delight to pick up and play on your board. Each game feels new depending on the plants you get and the tools or resources you acquire. I love that you can play with different strategies for winning but you don't quite know who has the most points until the end. I also like that you can play a game in 30-40 minutes if you don't have a ton of time or if attention spans are short.My only qualm is that they have accounted for the fact that you might run out of tokens (sun, water, plant food etc), so you have an area where 1 token can represent 4 tokens...why not just make enough tokens so that you don't run out? Seems like a cheap move. But overall this is certainly a favorite in our home and a favorite to gift to other families!

For the quality of the component, the price of this game should have been triple than what I paid for. Great to play with kids and the art work is amazing. It’s one of those zen type game you would love playing regardless of you win or not.
