*PLEASE READ*.! (Aidapt Ergonomic) 2 section right handed stick
*Please Read* -: Phoenix Walking Sticks.! (Aidapt Ergonomic 2 section 'Right hand' walking stick)...I had a pair of ugly (NHS) Walking Crutches and they seriously left me depressed having to use them, they were so 70's and 80's fashioned. They looked like something out of a 'Budget British Frankenstein' movie, they really were that awful, they simply had to go.There is a saying here at home, if Amazon.co.uk don't sell it, they simply don't make it.. lol, So I done a search on walking sticks,..I was Gobsmacked with the selection that Amazon done, I browsed through them for over an hour reading the reviews, and could notbelieve how "good value they were". Especially the one company ( Phoenix Walking Sticks ). As their feedback was so high, and Ialways like to read the buyer reviews. Which were excellent.....I just would like to say, I have a problem with my left hip, so I bought both, the Left, and Right hand walking sticks. Whichwere made from only the very best materials, including 'Aluminum Black and Gold', with a Rubber Gripper at the end of each stick.I was a little concerned because it was "down to the seller you bought from" whether you got the real deal, just like in the picture, withRubber Gripper at the bottom of the stick...Also they both came with the Nylon Strap, to wrap around your wrist. Again "down to the seller". & "Phoenix Walking Sticks" did deliver all.As if you look at some of the reviews some folks got what was advertised and some folks did not, thats when I had my both sticks deliveredwithin 48hrs and everything as advertised, I thanked them via email, and said I would mention exactly what I got in my product review...This is what I have done, and to make sure potential customers aren't 'ripped off', I'm letting it be known I had an excellent experience, together, with very rapid delivery indeed...Also, note, these aren't ambidextrous, you need to buy either a left hand, or right handed stick, or both, if you need one for each hand.As there is a special molding, for each left and right hand, which means holding them so, so, comfortable, and means they prop you up without, needing too much force. (which is a very clever design indeed.), and nope I don't work for Phoenix Walking sticks.! just telling like it is.!..I think even the price they ask for the product they sell does them justice, in what they do, because, for around 7 pounds a stick delivered, seem to be to be a Bargain, if you appreciate good workman ship. Very High Quality.. Ive got to drum this home, they cannot be making too muchon these superb walking sticks, when you take (Postage and packing) into it.....Anyone who wants a trendy walking stick or sticks, young or old these people have the solution; And they looking Nothing like (NHS) style Kit.!They are modern and very comfortable to hold, which means I can now get about, without a lot off pain in my left side.I would have to give them 10 out of 10, for speed of delivery, also, the quality of the sticks, whether it be left or right, with the Good quality'Proper Rubber Grippers', at the bottom of the stick, NOT Plastic, an 'Excellent Rubber Shock absorber'.....Please take a leap of faith and buy these sticks from Phoenix Walking Stick, and you will NOT be let down, I can assure you, and return and leavea comment for others to see, if your happy, like I said you will be :DThanks for reading, Good Luck, and take care, David.. (Hope my humble review has been of some help.!)

Worth buying
I purchased this for my 79 year old Mum who is sometimes a little unsteady on her feet. Mum has had issue with the sticks that she had, in that they didn't adjust down low enough for her height ( she's about 4' 10" now) Any mobility assistance device should be adjusted in conjunction with the users height otherwise other physical problems can occur.I searched around for an appropriate stick that would help her. I read hundreds of reviews for many different sticks & decided to buy her this one.Mum was over the moon when I delivered this stick to her. I adjusted right down for her and she was thrilled with the palm rest commenting on how reassuring and comfortable it was for her. She's had it a few weeks now & the discomfort that she had been experiencing in her shoulder and forearm are now gone. The only con & it isn't much of one, is that it doesn't break down small enough be able to pop it into her bag if she's out for a meal or some such.To sum upMum gives her stick 110 % thumbs up!Saying that you honestly cannot go wrong in giving this stick a try. The stick is good quality, excellent value for money and it has a really good adjustment range.

Good product
I bought a pair of these (left & right) for occasional use. I have therefore “cut & pasted” the same review into both listings. They are both perfectly fine, as other reviewers have already said - strong, comfortable, fully adjustable, and smart. Also, the handles at the top are useful for hanging them up, or for looping around my wrists.Size - it will adjust to 10 different heights - about one inch difference each time. I'm 5 foot 3.5 inches and I am using it on the fourth smallest setting. On that reckoning, it would be easy to say that it would fit someone up to six inches taller than me, but it doesn't always work that way, because you have to take the length of your arms into account as well! Everyone is a little bit different - with me, when I'm standing up straight, my wrists are more-or-less in line with the top of my legs. One more thing - there are a few sellers hooked up to this listing. I chose the Marketplace seller with the lowest price, and was surprised to receive this email shortly after despatch:“The item you have purchased has been sold to you as Zero Rated VAT. You have not been charged VAT on the sale of this item. Could you please therefore reply to this email, with the name and illness or disability of the person who will be using this item for personal use, for example:- Name:- Joe Bloggs. Illness:- Arthritis, Stroke, Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Condition etc.HM Customs & Excise requires us to record this information against each sale in order to comply with the Governments VAT exemption scheme. As a thank-you for your reply, you will receive a bonus lifetime discount for use on any future orders from our [ .... ] website. This is a legal requirement by the HMRC. We appreciate your help with this matter.”So .... the price was low because it had no VAT. This particular seller had simply assumed that everyone who buys this stick has a VAT-deductible “illness or disability”. That WASN’T made clear in the listing. It does NOT say that they have already deducted the VAT, and that (as a fait-accompli), they will be contacting you to ask for private/personal information which you may not feel comfortable divulging. So all-in-all, a good product, as long as you realise that depending on your chosen supplier, you may be asked for additional personal information.EDIT (Dec 2023): I’m pleased to say that the listing appears to have changed - the VAT is now included in the list price, and can be reclaimed by completing a separate form. This has to be an improvement - definitely more upfront, and you know what to expect.
