Great starter guitar book
Having messed around with learning to play the guitar several times throughout my like I was looking for an approach in which I could learn but also play something other than the basic kids nursery rhyme songs many beginner books start you with. What I like about this book is I have always admired fingerstyle players so I took a chance and bought it. While it took a bit more that 23 days to get through the book I was impressed by the progress I made as I went along and how even after a few lessons what was coming out of my guitar sounded like music. I know there is still a lot of practice and learning ahead but I feel like I might have found a key to getting to where I want to go.

Major improvements
Bought this book and went through the lesson plans as instructed.I’m an intermediate guitar player that had tried some finger-picking stuff in the past, but never incorporated it into my music because I was “better” at other styles. After going through this book, I have noticed remarkable improvements to my finger style playing

The More You Know
My husband has loved this book and has learned things he didn’t know, even as an accomplished musician.

Again Invaluable to Me.
At last simple but in depth fingerpicking. Kept simple and concise. Guitar Head thank you.I look forward to your other books. Memorizing The Fretboard really improved my playing while understanding what I am actually doing. Before I felt I was throwing crap athe wall hoping something would stick without embarrassing myself. Thanks

So far, so good.
Well thought out progression from basic exercises, to arpeggiating chords, to doing songs.
