Great product
Makes it fun to kill flies. Pretty accurate too.

I like the smell of salt in the morning. It smells like Victory!
It is a fly terminator. It feels wrong to laugh while sending flies off to fly heaven. But once you start, you can't stop because it's actually quite fun. Your innate hunter spirit takes control, and flies better just fly for their lives if they have a brain in that tiny fly head, because they are about to meet their fly maker. I do wish it wasn't quite so big and plastic though. Still... very good purchase.

Effective at its job
Although it’s made of shiny plastic, it performs well as a bug shooting device. It doesn’t feel or shoots like a toy. It is well constructed. The shot sounds like an air gun. I’ve hit mosquitos at the max range but I can’t confirm a kill because the body gets blasted and can’t be found. Get to within 12” and the mosquito will leave a splatter of my blood on the wall.

NOT a hair trigger, otherwise it's a perfect killing machine
Whoever decided to advertise that this has a hair trigger lied and they knew it. A gorilla wouldn't call this a light trigger. I'm a pretty stout blue collar guy with a hell of a grip, and that squeeze gets tiring after a few dozen bugs. I almost can't shoot it one handed with my left.Outside of that one gripe though, I've been having a ball. I can finally cover my tiny patio from edge to edge without getting out of my lawn chair. It's absolutely lethal within about 2 feet of the barrel, and pretty reliable out to 3. After that it mostly just bothers them off from wherever they are and hopefully to a closer perch. Remember that's 3 feet from the end of the barrel, which is about a foot and a half from your hand, so if you hold it out at the end of your arm, you can get a bug thats 6 or 8 feet from your face. Much better range than a swatter. The fiber sights are legit, as accurate as needed for a shotgun style pattern, and really do glow under most light conditions. The action is stiff, but not difficult, you just have to mean it from the start.I've found you should refill the hopper about the time the orange cup starts showing above the salt when you prime it. You can get another 20 or so shots after that, but they don't seem to be as strong without the weight of the salt pile above packing it into the chamber.Definitely not an indoor hunting implement, it does leave more than a couple grains of salt laying around. I just hose it off the patio into the dirt, but I go through a couple hoppers a day, and it leaves a fine dusting across the whole porch. You would not be happy about that much mess inside. For about the same dosh as this you could buy a Crosman Vigilante which will shoot the Shredder ammo for less than half the price, giving you the slaying power of an insect Zeus, but buying that ammo comes out to just under a dime per fly, so I prefer the spring loaded version so I can blast flies for next to free. I've been through about 6 hoppers now, which means about 300 flies, and it's barely put a dent in a 2lb container of salt.

Hell-on-wheels for waging war against flies!
I absolutely love this thing! The effective range is around two feet or less, and it really only works when the flies are stationary, but this works like a dream at making a (huge) dent in the number of flies bouncing around the house.

Bugs don't stand a chance!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my Boyfriend who lives near a horses and cows. He absolutely loves it! Its well made and doesn't leave a mess. He uses it both inside and out on the porch. He definitely recommends!

Take it camping every time.
Totally love this little gun. LOL! It is a ton of fun and gives you a lovely feeling when you can take vengeance on some stupid horse flies that have been constantly attacking you. It is fairly effective with smaller flies and spiders. Takes a few close shots to put down horse and deer fly. But in my opinion it lets you get close to them quickly, shoot them to stun them, then you show them how much you like them with your boot while they are trying to get back up. Works great and absolutely improves your chances of getting your target by a major number. Love this thing!

Best $40 I have spent in awhile
This thing works exactly as advertised. If you want to make the frustration of annoying pests into a cheap fun game, this is the way to do it. This version did work on a hornet that was after me, but it took 4 shots to put it out for good. The sights are amazingly accurate out to about 5 feet. The gun only really has an effective range of the 3 feet advertised. I love that the ammunition is so cheap and sanitary. It turns an aggravation into a little fun. Mosquitos just disappear when hit. Your average house spider seems to be about as tough as the hornets. I have fired hundreds of rounds through mine without a hitch. It actually seems to function better after used some. If it quits, I will be buying another, as I feel I already got my money's worth from this one. Highly recommended for anyone that despises flies. Have some fun solving a problem.
