Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles - Nintendo Switch

the mechanics of this game are great. once i learned combos and how to effectively play as specific characters, it was a lot easier to win battles. i love that the cut scenes mix in images from the show. the animation of the game is amazing, it really does look like the show. there are a few wonky bits here and there game design wise, like you can walk through npcs, but otherwise it’s great.i love how the music from the show is included in the battles/events. when i was playing chapter 8 (mugen train) and completing the fight against akaza, i really felt like i was able to connect with the series in a new way since i was interacting with these important story points. though, it is a little funny that you have to beat akaza to ultimately lose to akaza.i completed this game in less than a week, but i’m still having a lot of fun playing online and against cpus - it’s also multiplayer, so i can play with my friends. the opportunity to go back and play any point of the story is also great, because i can revisit my favorite battles.if you are a demon slayer fan and like rpg type games (because i personally think the amount of interaction you have in it can make it be considered an rpg), get this game!

As a huge fan of DS I was so excited to play this game and remember it being announced and it just as awesome as thought it would be! Its incredible with its scenery, dialogue and most importantly the characters and battle sequences. The animation is so nice to look at and I love how they were able to bring these characters to life even more! I def recommend this game to all DS fans!

My sister got the game for Christmas and was so happy! She’s been playing it a lot and is so far pretty satisfied with the game. Definitely recommended to any Demon Slayer fans!

Bought this for my kid since shes into demon slayer right now. Easy to play and understand the controls.
