Good product, premium price, also consider the other models from same company
I have several units from this company:This review is on the ITC-608T, which does both temperature and humidityThe ITC-308 does only temperature (https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-308-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat/dp/B01MDSWXY4/)The IHC-200 does only humidity (https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Digital-Pre-wired-Humidity-Controller/dp/B01FQKXRXA)I'm happy with all of them. So which should you get? Buying both the ITC-308 and IHC-200 separately may actually cost less than this combined unit (check the pricing when you read this), and has the advantage that you can plug in a heater, cooler, humidifier, and dehumidifier all at the same time, which is not possible with this combined unit. So what are the advantages of this one?- This unit has a relay rated for 15A, whereas the other units are rated for 10A only. This is especially important for space heaters.- This unit has a timer and multi-stage heating controls, which the ITC-308 does not (there is yet another different model, the ITC-310T, which also has that capability)- This unit has improved firmware: the high and low alarms for humidity can be set almost anywhere in the range, as opposed to the IHC-200, where the high alarm has to be above 50% and the low alarm has to be below 50%. Holding the up and down buttons move faster on this unit. You can quickly change the setpoint by single-pressing the set button, whereas on the other units, you have to hold the button and enter settings mode to change the target.- The probes on this unit unplug for easy replacement. This is especially an issue in very humid environments, where the humidity sensor will eventually rust.and a few other differences which are neither good nor bad:- On this unit the plugs are in the same box as the display and controller. On the others, the plugs are in a separate box on a short cord.- On this unit, when you exit setting mode, one or the other of heat/cool (or humidify/dehumidify) always turns on. On the other units, the differential is also considered, so if the setpoint is near the current value, neither direction will turn on.- The multi-stage timer is available only in heating mode, not in humidity mode.- The mode is controlled by which sensors are plugged in, not by the front panel buttons. It IS possible to run both humidity and temperature control at the same time on this unit, but only one direction of each. First you select one or the other of heating or cooling, and then one or the other of humidifying and dehumidifying.

Reliable and vertsatil controller
Recently received this and have been using it for heating and cooling control. The unit is versatile, feels robust with nice and clear display. At first, the setup was kind of confusing. The instructions are not written with inexperienced user in mind, so it was easier to have a hands-on experience with this unit to understand how it functions rather than reading the manual. I used the manual for function abbreviation reference only.So far it has been working flawlessly and has lots of “must have” options if you are serious about heating or cooling control. It has 3 buttons, 2 output plugs and 2 inputs for 2 sensors. If you plug in the temperature sensor in either input, the unit will be controlled by temperature range that you specify. If the humidity sensor is used, than the controller will be using that to trigger both heating and cooling events. The controller is very responsive. I like the fact that the temperature and humidity readings are frequently updated giving you quite precise measurements with little to no delay. The humidity sensor is also very precise (comparing to other devices that I have).I haven't yet been able to test all the functions, but for basic setup, everything seems to be working as should.

Great bang for the buck. Works really well.
There are definitely some expensive systems out thereb and they might be worth it as well, but this setup is really well priced and does a great job. I have a small microgreens setup and was struggling to keep the climate optimal until I got this. Now I don't really think about it and it just works. One thing that would be nice would be some connectivity for the alarms. If the temp goes way to high or low, for example, it'd be nice to get a notification. As it is, that rarely happens unless I leave a door open, but it'd be a nice feature. This setup does have configurable alarms that are audible, but mine is away from where I can hear it normally.

Not just for sausage
The temp control worked great in the cat house. Set it up with a heating pad and the outdoor cat stays warm

Trial and Error Works Better than the Manual
Read the manual to understand the abbreviations that show up on the display. You won't under stand AH or d or H or anything until you look in the manual. However once you get a sense of what every abbreviation means just hook up the sensors and play with it to see if you've configured it correctly. If you hold either the temperature sensor or the humidity sensor in your hand it will elevate the readings quickly to see if you configured it correctly on the top end. Overall it took me no more than 20 minutes between reading the manual and fiddling with the sensors to get a good understanding if I configured it correctly or not. Now that I have it installed it's been one of the best products I've bought in a while for my grow tent. No longer do I come down to a jungle environment in the tent with humidity levels 80%+. This keeps my humidity levels in check and now all the readings I've entered in my journal since logging this equipment arrival have been exactly where I want, approx 50-55%. The only exception has been when I forgot to empty the dehumidifer and found the alarm going off since it was powering the full dehumidifier who was unable to do anything about it. Thanks InkBird, given that this was the first product I bought from you I must say I'm very impressed so far!
