Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this metal detector first because of thr reviews and second because of the price. It used it for thr first time on vacation it was super easy to put together, but it took a little time to get used to. It has a lot of bells abs whistles, so for someone who new to detecting, trying to figure out what I was doing, what setting I should be one, how to use thr pin point finder etc. was something that reading the Manuel helped, but until you are doing it, you really dont know. The shovel is very sturdy and very usable. The earring case that you put it in doesn't seem very durable, so we will see.

Awesome metal detector!!! My father was an avid metal detector so I have always wanted to have one. Very easy to assemble. This is an awesome kit! It comes with a storage bag, shovel, headphones. It's very light and very easy to use. I'm excited to have many adventures with it!!

The item arrived as pictured. Setup was super easy and straightforwad. I tested it out around the house and it appeared to work well. I’m excited to take it out and about and see what I can find.

Only took out once so gar , but works great. The pin point option makes it very easy to find items as narrows down to a very small area.

This isnt the best metal detector i have used. It gives a lot of false readings. I havent used it on simple things like candy beaches, so it may be fine with that. The customer service was very nice and on top of helping.

I purchased this product for my 11yo son as a gift. Once received, assembled, and thoroughly read through the directions, we took it down to our local public beach and began scanning the public beach area. After a few minutes he discovered a nail buried in the sand, he also found additional metal object. He also found a fishing lure which was a Cotton Cordell Pencil Popper in mackerel pattern. The lure itself was in great condition including the split rings, however the hooks are rusted but are replaceable. Score!!!! He loves fishing so we’ll replace the hooks and add the lure to his arsenal. Also on a good note we removed these sharp items from the sand which hopefully will spare an innocent beachgoer with a puncture wound in the foot this summer. Great product!!!!

So far this metal detector has done exactly what we were looking for. This was purchased for my son for his birthday and he just loves it. It was extremely easy to put together and the included bag was a bonus. It picks up all sorts of things and we really like the icons on the display outlining what type of material it is picking up. This makes it easy for my son to identify things. Overall he is very happy and we are glad it works well.
