Perfect 240v to 12v power...
Perfect for the job. Easy to add flex and a plug and then the 12v output (garage diesel heater in my case). The case mounts easily to a backboard or the wall. Great value!

Work prefectly but the fan is noisy
Work perfectly and easy to connect but the fan is noisy and if I had know that may not have bought although I am using it still, thus the 4 starts for the fan noise.

Compact power supply
I finally set this PSU up to run a mobile radio transceiver (Retevis RT95 and others). The initial output voltage was 12V DC as stated. I was able to adjust the output to the required 13.8 volts for the radio equipment using the small trimming pot at the terminals of the PSU. This was very handy. The voltage is quite stable even when I power up other radio units connected to it or draw extra current. The only quibble I have is that the fan runs all the time and does not operate based on the temperature of the unit so even when the PSU is not under significant load the fan runs. It's not particularly noisy but the previous PSU had no fan. The unit is compact and light and seems to be well put together and for the price is an excellent choice for running mobile radio equipment from the mains supply. For safety reasons I would suggest putting this PSU inside a ventilated case or box to prevent accidental contact with the terminals as the mains supply is fed in on one side with the DC output on the other. It could be used as the main unit in a power supply project for a radio shack. EI7CTB

12v 30A 360w power supply
Bought 2 of these to run 2 chinese diesel heaters and they work perfect, because the heaters draw a fair bit of watt when they start up i bought these as a lot of comments about the heaters brought me to these and they are going strong, only negative is the fan on them can get on your nerves a bit if you turn off the heater but keep the power supply on constant, they would have been great if the fan shut off when not drawing power.

Seems to be a reliable and powerful unit
I bought this to power a diesel heater which it does without any fuss or bother even during the heavy load periods when the heater is starting up. There is a slight fan noise but nothing intrusive. The only disadvantage would be that it would need to have some sort of protective cover if used in an exposed position outside. Apart from that, it is easy to wire up and there is a small trimmer which can be turned with an electrical screwdriver to adjust the exact voltage that the heater needs - you can see the voltage levels change on the heater display panel as you twiddle the screw and adjust accordingly.
