works pretty well
In some areas of Florida, mosquitoes are crazy. This product works well, preventing bites without having to apply anything chemical. The fragrance isn't bad at all, and it's very easy to use on both arms and legs.

They Work!
These bracelets have changed my life. No joke. I seem to attract mosquitoes and the bites swell to the size of a golf ball and are intensely itchy. I got these bracelets on a whim, thinking that they were cheap enough even if they didn't work. I have worn the same one several times and kept it in the zipper bag that it came in in between uses. I have not gotten one mosquito bite while wearing it. I've been outside at dusk and in the evening in the heat and humidity and before these bracelets, I would have gotten bitten over and over until I ended up inside. Now, nothing! I see that they didn't work for some reviewers - get them and try them and if they don't work for you, return them!

Works like Magic
Used these while in the Costa Rican rain forests and they were awesome. If we forgot them, the insects were bad. Would definitely buy again. No harsh smells.

These bracelets work but with caveats. I got them because sometimes I want to take quick walks outside, but don't want to put on sticky big spray and have to shower 2x a day because of the spray. Enter these bracelets.1st caveat: they fairly quickly decrease in efficacy, which makes me feel guilty for creating so much non compostable/recyclable waste relatively quickly. I have a neighbor with a swampy pool that causes a bunch of mosquitos in the neighborhood in the summer. Without the bracelets, I got 14 bites when going outside for 1 hour. With the bracelets (1st wear and one per limb), I got none.2nd caveat: I have found that I need 1 bracelet per limb in order to avoid bites. For a nighttime Joshua tree stargazing outing with a friend, we each only put one on and both got bit up like crazy. Later, I gave the bracelets another chance. I put one on each elbow and one on each knee. Wore them and then put them back in the pouches for later use. No bites. Used them a 2nd and 3rd time with no bites, but got 4 bites today with the 4th use, which indicates they're at their effective end of life at around 3 or 4 wears.Overall, they work if you make sure you have a little citronella bubble around you by putting one on each limb, but they generate a relatively large amount of waste for the amount of protection they provide, and the protection itself can be spotty. If your only goal is to not use chemical spray on your skin, these bracelets meet it. If your goal is solely to not get bit, spray might be a better choice.

No mosquito bites!
I went out in the woods for a Falconry expedition and had a band on each limb. I did not get bitten even once. I was so happy

I can go out without having to worry about the itch!!
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but these mosquito repellent bracelets actually work! I’m someone who usually gets eaten alive, and my bites get so bulged and big. And now I can’t imagine leaving home without them. I would say it lasts a few days as long as you put them back into the resealable bag once you’re done with them. I wear one on one of my arms and another on my ankle and you’re literally good to go. I’ve literally had no bites so far since wearing them. live in the panhandle of Florida, it’s humid, hot, and there’s a countless of moisquitos once the sun fades. Usually I never go home without a single bite any time I’m out and now I don’t even have to worry about a single bite!** something that I’ve done to help it last longer is put a drop or two of citronella oil in the bag so once I put it back, it helps retain the smell and keep it effective!

Easy, Kid-Friendly Mosquito Protection — Works Well (Most of the Time!)
For those seeking a quick, low-chemical, kid-approved mosquito deterrent, these bracelets are appealing—especially for casual outdoor moments like gardening, short walks, or light camping. However, if you're dealing with heavy insect pressure (e.g., during trips to mosquito-infested areas), don't rely solely on them—add a backup like spray or netting.Highlights at a Glance• Ease of use: slip-on design—no mess, no fuss• Kid-safe & travel-ready: resealable individually wrapped bands• Fragrance: pleasant citronella lemongrass• Effectiveness: varies—some swear by them, others not so much
