What a brilliant toilet seat, But don't ring the UK help line if you have any questions as even within the opening times they provided a pre recorded messages advising I'd rang out of hours, not good, soft closing, well made, sturdy, and the fitting are not metal so will not discolour, and the quick release toilet seat for cleaning couldn't be better. Again only faulty manufacturers customer help service!

This seat arrived really well packaged. But I see why as its much thinner than my old seat. Im no DIY buff but fitting took around 45 mins, including removing the old seat, realising I needed tools, getting tools, unpacking, realising I needed different tools, getting tools, the deciphering the instructions. Once id figured what I needed to do regarding the old fittings it was quite easy. Only 4 stars though as I could not screw that bolt in any tighter but im not convinced that if I remove the seat, the bolts won't come up too. Yes, the plug is in the correct way, the springy things are flush against the toilet. Maybe it's just not sturdy enough plastic? You could say that about the entire seat though. I also can't get it to lie flat on the loo! As if the plastics warped or something. It closes lovely though, slow and gentle and it looks smart. Anyway, it will do for now or until I break it again like the old one!!

This is a good quality seat and the fact that it's removable for cleaning is a bonus. Found the top fitting so much easier than bottom fitting. Make sure you insert the plastic anchors, which fit into the holes on the seat,the right way up. I didn't and the seat skidded all over the place! So, apart from "operator error", very pleased.

Item arrived well protected in cardboard box. Very easy and straightforward to fit - biggest problem for me changing 3 seats in house was removing the old seats with their overly complex fixture designs that had corroded over time - these new seats have a much better design. Highly recommended.

Due to someone else's bodge job, getting my old seat off took far more time and effort than was expected, so be prepared for that, especially if you only have one toilet in your home.So, a nice clean toilet that needs a seat fitted: step one insert the plastic plug things through the holes. I had a huge problem there: my flat is mid 1950s, perhaps the toilet is original 50s, but the plastic plugs were just slightly too big for my holes; so I had to find my own ingenious way of fitting those (assemble the hinge and bolt, then tap with hammer, repeatedly).With the benefit of hindsight: I may have been better off using the plastic spacers that were already in the holes: to have done so would have meant I needed plastic wing nuts that I didn't have. Someone else using metal nuts is what caused issues getting my old seat off... penetrating oil overnight, mole grips, ring spanner, awkward positions...I am not able to get the position of the seat quite as far forwards as I would like, which may be due to the plastic plugs not sitting quite right. It will do for now, but I might in the near future see if I can put the original spacers back in and then the fittings might move around better, to bring the seat forwards a bit.It was ok for £20, the full asking price of £30 I guess is reasonable enough, it's just a cheap seat and feels cheap. I'm glad to have replaced my toilet seat before my old one broke, I now have a much better idea of my sizings, if I want to spend more and get a more comfortable seat.

So easy to install in fact I used the existing mounts of my old toilet seat and it fitted perfectly. The seat is sturdy but don't expect the thickness of a wooden one. That said the seat is comfortable and in the price range excellent value.The soft close I would expect to last longer as the seat itself isn't heavy.

Item itself is fine.. Customer services are the problem.. I had problems wuth the inital fitting and I needed a spare couple of plastic anchor bolts.. After contacting customer services they got back to me wanting to see the invoice. Which I duly supplied. Then they said it will probably be quicker and more convenient if I purchased the bolts from a hardware store. Which I cant do because these bolts are particular to this company no one else sells them.. After explaining this to them they came to me requsting photos of the problem... IT's two plastic bolts they cost around 10p just send the bolts.. I do not want to get drawn into a saga over it just stop the stalling and nonsence requests just send me the bolts.....

Easiest loo seat I’ve ever fitted!! No messing around underneath, no struggling, fits perfectly you can position it so it’s just right, my kids absolutely love the slow closing lid no more trapped finger 😂 spot on 👌🏻 🎉 will definitely buy this again if needed and would highly recommend
