Works great with VOIP on my PC
I was using a Plantronics headset plugged directly into my Cisco phone on my desktop. I found that I was using 'soft-phone' functionality on my computer instead and needed a headset to plug into my USB port.My first gut reaction was that I needed to buy a completely new USB based headset. When I found this, I realized that I could remove the "Cisco" adapter on the end of my Plantronics headset and replace it with this USB adapter.

Stopped working twice
This is the third time now I am buying this part. It has stopped working and does not work. After 1st time I secured devise to not move on desk so no possible reason to stop working. I only use it about 2-4 hrs per week. Very unhappy but is what my organization prefers.
