I've ordered this quite a few times now and in general, it's a great product. The photos show that it comes with the white "hood" looking piece, but I have never received that piece. Although it's advertised as reusable, I wouldn't recommend trying to reuse these simply because the emptying process is really disgusting and it's easier to just buy a new one. I like that it's a hard plastic over a plastic bag material like some of the other traps I've bought. It does the job well and is durable. It's also a little decorative which is nice. It doesn't say it's a fly trap all over it a million times.

I kid you not this is literally the best fly trap I’ve ever seen. I was skeptical at first to purchase but I thought I would just give it a try anyways. I never write reviews but I had to for this. I’ve had it outside for 2 days now and I’m not kidding I think every fly in the neighborhood is in this thing lol. I mean it’s disgusting but it WORKS! I do recommend mixing in the contents of the package outside!! It smells so bad, no wonder why the flys love it so much. But put water in the container first then go outside and mix the contents. But SO GOOD!! 100% purchase!

I recently started feeding an outdoor stray cat and the cat food has caused a massive amount of flies to set up camp on my porch. I've used disposable fly traps in the past and you had to keep them a good distance away from the house due to the awful smell they emit. The smell with this product is barely detectable unless you intentionally put it right to your face. Within a day of placing it i could tell a huge difference in the number of flies around and it was almost completely full within 3 days. Just bought another, hands down best trap I've ever bought

I don't think I have ever been so pleased with a bug product! I put it out on Sunday I think and it is full of hundreds of flies which certainly grosses me out. I've just texted a neighbor to see if I can buy him a 6-pack of his favorite beer to just put it in a tightly contained bag for the trash pickup on Thursday. NO WAY am I emptying it anywhere or asking anyone else to empty it. It does smell horrible (and it is on my patio but it's way too hot to sit outside right now anyway) but I don't like the flies flying in my house when I come in and out of my back yard! Anyway, I have already bought another one and am prepared to use it and hope my neighbor and I can work out this deal! :-)

The trap works extremely well, and I'm happy with it. But... I needed more bait as I had to empty the trap. I couldn't find it anywhere on the Amazon site. I called the Company. They don't sell refills for the bait; it's not sold separately. In order to get more bait, you need to order the entire trap. I really don't think this is a good selling point. I don't want to order another trap.

This works great. I placed it in my yard, away from my porch, and it helped a lot. I thought it would be good to have a reusable trap; however, the 1st time I had to dispose of the contents of dead flies, I thought I was going to throw up!! The smell was HORRIBLE, so I think after I am done with the refill packets, I will go to a disposal trap that I don't have to dump, but I can just throw the whole thing away.
