This is the third hand grip I've bought, and I'm getting somewhat addicted to it. The first one broke after a year (well, the spring broke), but I got more than enough mileage out of it, so no complaints. It was definitely worth replacing. I bought this one in April this year (and another in July for a friend), and I like these for a number of reasons. The resistance is adjustable up to 40 kg, which is perfectly adequate for most human beings. The handles are strong, yet comfortable. The gadget is pretty durable. And it does wonders for your grip and forearm.It is well known that grip strength is a critical indicator of general health -- I am a senior citizen -- and whether you are carrying groceries, a heavy suitcase or doing chin-ups, you need good grip strength. While the Strauss hand-grip is *not* a substitute for other forearm exercises, it is remarkably convenient to have around the house (and while travelling -- I don't go anywhere without it). You can use it while reading a book or lying on a couch watching Netflix, and the results are excellent. For the price, it is one of the better investments I have made towards good health.
