I wanted something that wouldn't break, as we have gone through so many wooden and plastic rulers. These were a good price and fit the bill! The bend in every direction and after months of use, they still haven't broken!

Perfect for my classroom needs. Wish they sold 6 inch rulers to prevent the students from mayhem...Could cut, but with the cutout zigzag within the ruler it would create disasters.

I got 5 instead of 4 which I was so grateful for. Hope someone didn't get less than 4. They were stuck together. This rule makes a lot of sense since it cannot be broken. It is very durable and worth the money. 4 Will last very long unless it is misplaced

These rulers are 'color specific' - if you are working on something that's on the darker side -paper, fabric, etc you can't see anything. If you're working on white or light it's OK. To me, the flexibility is more of an annoyance than helpful. Might not be for a man (bigger hand) but my thumb and forefinger are only 6-7" when spread wide open so it's difficult to hold the ruler down and get accurate measurements. The rulers I got don't lay completely flat. I'm mostly working on fabrics so that's a negative. I only have a couple rulers - bigger, older ones and it irritates me when I just need a quick little measurement but have to run to the other side of the house to get a ruler.

These are perfect rulers for measuring my crafting projects I use these for measuring my DIY projects when drawing Squares on round glass or metal projects, I love the flexibility of these rulers they go around round objects square objects etc.
