Easy to install, working fine.

This valve was fine fitted at the same time as the central heating pump on top to stop the flow of the water that has an inhibitor for corrosion in the radiators but the pump is grinding in the airing cupboard so the TV can't be watched when it's switched on for hot water circulation

OK so you want to replace your central heating pump.You turn off the isolating valves and yes they start to leak as the washers have gone rusty or the whole thing is seized. So you have to rush out and get new ones!The ones to replace then with are these. They are gate valves which lower a brass "drawbridge" valve to shut the water off. You may choose to buy a tap handle too as a spanner can be fiddly.Finally these are slightly larger than the other ones so one of the pipe connections may need cutting back and the olive cutting off.

The pair of valves, purchased to replace thirty year old valves, performed admirably and did everything needed of them.

Standard central heating pump valves, does the job good price

As described this is a central heating pump valve. The product is sturdy and well made. After some preparation removing the old pump valve and replacing it with this and attaching it to the new pump was a reasonably easy job for a professional.

Price is a little high , my fault as I assumed it was pair,Entirely my fault as it said one ,.always purchased them as a pair in the merchant.
