Q: are there different dies to be able to convert the crimper to use it for other types of crimp?

No. This tool does not have interchangeable dies. It's low cost, yet does the job well. Tools with interchangeable dies would have larger heads and be even more awkward to use for these tiny crimps. The dies can certainly be removed but why? It has an adjustable cam for the ratchet to set the closing force, but seems OK where set from the factory.

Not 100% sure, but here are the list of connector types from the manual: Slot 1: XH 2.54 mm; C3-R 2.54 mm; JST type; KF2510; XHP2.54 etc. Slot 2: Molex IDE power connectors (5559); ATX power connectors (5557); VH3.96; Dupont3.96 etc. Slot 3: Dupont2.54 (female and male) etc. Looking at diagrams of the connector, I suspect slot 1 would work, but I have not tried myself.

Q: Will the male connectors fit an arduino

Yes they do, that's why I bought one. You can repair any broke links with the male or female connectors. I bought a selection of wire to make my own connection links. It takes a bit of practice to get the crimp correct. There are a few YouTube videos that help. Good luck👍
