I just got one of these Douk Audio G3 amps this morning and I haven't stopped playing music on it since I switched it on two hours ago. The sound quality is very, very good - and I say that as a former BBC Audio Engineer and hifi enthusiast. I've spent £1100 on a CD player before now. I think I have heard better set ups than this amp running through my pair of 25 year-old Mission 752 speakers, but only briefly - and that was in top-end hifi listening rooms. The build quality is very good and there are no crackly/rough controls. Personally, I think it looks really good in silver and, thankfully, it comes branded as a 'Douk Audio G3', doesn't have 'Nobsound' written anywhere on it. The same company owns both brands. It is, as many people have said, tiny - slightly longer than a CD case, roughly three quarters that width. The bluetooth connected easily, came up as 'QCC3003'. The manufacturer's literature notes the quality of the Blutooth chip and it certainly held solid as I walked to the far end of the house downstairs. Otherwise, I recognise the audio amplifier chips (071 and NE5532) from the circuit diagrams of pro sound desks I was fixing at the Beeb.If you can connect speakers successfully with + to + (or red to red, black to black) and place speakers pointing towards you, you'll get far more sound quality than you have any right to expect at the price. Top tip: buy four banana plugs (two red, two black) for delivery with your amp, it'll be MUCH easier to connect to the speaker terminals.I honestly don't know why it only costs £40; this is a genuinely fine sounding, musical amp and seems to have the same specs as the £46 one branded 'Fosi Audio'.

Great little amp, loud and clear sound from a miniscule sized box. No apparent hiss or background noise, connects perfectly with bluetooth and has very little delay (I Bluetoothed it to my Samsung TV and could watch tennis without the delay spoiling it). If you've got a pair of passive speakers spare get one of these you won't regret it!. Do get the banana plugs to connect as thicker speaker leads don't attache as neatly to the rear screw terminals. Would have loved a simple remote control to turn on/off (volume control has on/off switch) but for fifty quid you can't really complain.

Wanted a little bit of a boost for my pc sound. Had some old mission 770 8 ohm speakers kicking around . Wanted something to drive them. Looked at some mini amps, as wanted something small to sit on desktop. Settled on the G3 from Douk Audio. Cracking little amp. Used the 3.5 mm aux in the back as the source, although can do bluetooth too. Partnered with some banana plugs and descent cable, the amp sounds great. Has bass and treble controls on the front, but most of tone shaping comes through the pc software. Half volume is loud enough for a 6m square room. No distortion, loss of clarity.My only complaint is that the banana plug sockets at the back of the unit are very close to each other. If using metal banana plugs, you may want to strategically place a strip of cardboard between channels, to stop the speakers phasing across. Or else use cheaper plastic banana plugs.Would definitely recommend this amp for a set up like mine. Has plenty of grunt for normal household listening .

Only had this little amp for around three weeks but so far it is performing very well. It has paired with various bluetooth devices seamlessly. The sound quality via both bluetooth and wired is excellent. There is also a quality feel about the controls – just a nice amount of resistance when turning the dials. This tiny device (combined with my mobile) has replaced a doorstep of a tuner amp and I would say the sound is better. Overall at this early stage, first class.

Trusted the other reviews that said this amp was way better than its price suggested.They're not true. This amp works, it's not terrible for its price, but it being "cheap" doesn't mean it's a good deal. You're paying smaller amount than you would for a better amp, but you're definitely not getting a good amp for it.Better to just pay more for a better amp if you've paid any more than £50 for your speakers.

I've had this nearly a week now and have been very impressed with it. Easy to setup to use my old wired B&W speakers, and both my iPhone XS Max and iMac 5k paired with it over Bluetooth no problem. Sound quality is excellent, no complaints. Unit is small, but robust, and has a decent weight so it doesn't move when you turn the dials or switch it off. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I bought this to stream music from my phone and laptop to a pair of high-end Q bookshelf speakers on my study desk. I was blown away by the quality of the sound! It is as good, if not better, than the sound from high end units, and certainly better than my more expensive Denon mini-hi fi system that I have in my lounge. I use it every day, and having the traditional manual treble and bass controls is a boon, makes it so easy to quickly adjust the sound to what you like. I don't tend to have it too loud as its on my desk, but on occasion I've cranked it up to see what it can do and it can belt out tunes at a high volume with no distortion - something I haven't come across in hi fi systems before. I was so impressed with it that I also bought one for my son and he too is bowled over by it (among other things he is an amateur musician). I would 100% recommend it to anyone.
