I got this and it already had a fine edge; but, I improved it and it's almost impossible to compare!! This blade is built sturdy but also balanced and light enough for confident handling.

People write in reviews that the knife arrived, "razor sharp". I suspect that's just a figure of speech.Obviously, I cannot attest to the blades that have been and will be purchased, but the knife I received is razor sharp. Not an exaggeration. I own many, many knives. This is the sharpest knife I own.I have not yet done a lot with this knife yet. So, I cannot attest to how the edge will stand up.The knife is nicely designed with an effective grip and the weight is substantial for the size. It is one solid piece of steel. And as I already described, it will effortlessly shave hair of my arm, hold up a piece of paper and the paper barley moves as it gets turned into ribbons.The sheath is just okay. I will be acquiring and different sheath in the future.

Great knife. Heavy and sturdy

The media could not be loaded. The only way I was able to get the blade to rattle in the sheath is when it was not fully in the sheath so I don't know if they've changed the sheet since some of these previous reviews or if people just weren't putting it all the way in but it's not a problem on mine it is sharp I was able to shave his spot on my arm effortlessly only time will tell how well the edge will hold up all in all for $30 not too bad.

good knife if it doesnt rust

I have the EF135 and was expecting this one to come with a similar tough belt clip assembly which is what made me choose EF to begin with. Sheath design improvements should be considered . The blade is sharp. Handle is a bit long for the blade length which makes the knife bigger than it actually needs to be. 3 stars for the clip and no protective packaging.

Good knife.The sheath can be fickle. The removable adjustment bars for holding it onto your belt can come out if you aren't careful.I really like the tanto tip.It's pretty sharp, too.
