100 Yards 1.5mm Black Waxed Cotton Cord Jewelry Making Beading Thread Crafting Macrame Rope

The only negative here is how little wax this “waxed cord” has. It has enough Wax that the cord still on the spool will not fray if left alone. My picture shows the spool and the single piece of cord I cut off five weeks ago when I used it for a necklace. After five weeks of constant wear (also when asleep) you can see that the cord looks very dry and the ends at the knot have definitely frayed. However, the cord itself is standing up fairly well. That combined with how much you get for the price makes it a solid four stars. I was a bit dismayed that it was shipped in a bubble mailer (hence the broken spool) but the cord itself will be fine.

This was a gift from my daughter to her boyfriend. He loved it, said it was perfect for what he needed.

i needed sombasic black cord to make a quick necklace to hand the pendants on so that my students go home wearing their newly made treasures and this was the perfect cord for the job

pretty good. used it to make lego necklaces with my boyfriend. have alot left over. doesn't snap easy.

UPDATE 9.22.21Replacement bead cord REEKED of MOLD too! RETURNED them both.Looking for a new brand of cord now.It is a HEALTH HAZARD.I would NOT purchase this again.------------------I canNOT use this bead cording because it REEKS of MOLD!!!!! It is NASTY!!!!! There is NO mold that is visible, but the smell knocks you back. I read other reviews that mentioned visible mold & thought it must have been a fluke, but it is NOT.NOPE, this is NASTY!Ordered a replacement in case it is truly a fluke.Will update when I get the new cording.
