GLENCAIRNWhiskey and Gin Mixer Glass in Gift Carton

This Glencairn whiskey and gin mixed glass is a solid addition to my collection. Not only is it great for drinking bourbon neat, but it also works well for scotch ales, stouts, and mixed drinks for my wife. The shape of the glass enhances the aromatics, so whatever you’re drinking, you’re getting the full experience.The quality of the crystal is impressive. It has a nice heavy base with some real mass to it—none of that flimsy, delicate stuff. It’s also held up in the dishwasher about 50 times now, which is more than I can say for some other glassware I’ve owned.I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that they don’t sell them in packs of four, which would have been a better option than buying them individually. Other than that, no issues.

Brings to your nose nasal enjoyment of Aroma of beers and liquor.

Very nice shape. Big enough to fit ice easily and accommodate a big pour. Perfect to get good nose smell before tasting, but can be hard on nose after tasting if a strong bite to smell. That's not the glasses fault if your Bourbon has a lot of bite....

One of the previous reviews called it a “knock off” as it doesn’t have the Canadian maple leaf. As an American that doesn’t drink Canadian whiskies I really prefer it doesn’t have it. As you can see from the photo. It seems to be the right thickness and not a cheap glass. Haven’t tried it for function yet. Just a first impression. I’m happy !

Favorite whiskey glass

Great glass for whiskey neat, with an ice cube or two, in a classic cocktail like a Manhattan, and will probably also work for mixing the Nectar of the Gods with cola...if that's your thing!This is exactly the glass I was looking for, the Glencairn "non-Canadian" glass without the maple leaf, as I seldom ever drink Canadian Whisky...maybe if they spelled whiskey correctly I would drink more.There are multiple reviews claiming this glass to be fake because it does not have the etched maple leaf...maybe it is, maybe it's not...It's a high quality glass that looks and feels exactly like a Glencairn regardless. My guess is NOT, that this IS a genuine Glencairn "Mixer" glass, as advertised, rather than the Glencairn "Canadian" glass that maybe some are expecting. The Glencairn website clearly states about the "Mixer" glass "Please note these glasses are just like the Glencairn Canadian Glasses, except this glass does NOT have a maple leaf etched on the bottom"
