Cuts time and labor. Potential sloppy manufacturing.
First product sent did not work at all, but they sent a new unit. Second unit the handle did not fit. It appeared to be a messy plastic molding job, but when I took a serrated knife and chiseled away at some of the excess plastic, I got it to work. Once that was taken care of, the product worked like a charm.

Great experience!
It was more expensive than the $12 POS from Walmart that disintegrated…but man….like not even ten pumps to full pressure. 4 cups Epson salt, 4TBS dawn, 2 gallons vinegar, then like 1/2 cup of 75% vinegar solution. Sprays like a champ. Has two nozzles but I just use the shower mode. When done, I rinse and then run straight water through the sprayer for a minute. Have had two months, expecting this to last much longer.

Good But Leaks at Sprayer Attachment Joint
I was really excited to find that there is such a thing as a vinegar sprayer because I learned the hard way that a regular sprayer can't handle the vinegar acid. The Chapin sprayer arrived not long after I ordered it and was well packaged. I assembled it with ease following the instructions (there was no explanation about how to attache one of the sprayer heads). I filled the sprayer with the vinegar and water combination and went off to use it on some of my yard's weeds. It worked well but there is a constant leak at the point where the wand attaches to the hose. I couldn't find any explanation online regarding on eliminating the leak. I'll continue to use the Chapin sprayer but I wish I could contact someone to tell me how to get rid of the leak.

Great sprayer for vinegar
It was easy to assemble and easy to use. I used it with 30% vinegar to spray weeds. You do have to clean it well after each use since vinegar is so corrosive. I hope this lasts a long time!

defective nozzle
Cannot speak about long term acid resistance. Have not had it long enough.Like others have written, the wand will not shut off.So only useful if you have a continuous short job, and don't mind it being on the whole time.Just a poor wand design

Worked great for two years but...
I've owned two of these units for two years now. I use them with horticultural vinegar to control garden weeds. Prior to buying them, all other garden pumps I bought and used with vinegar failed within a few months. The G2005P lasted for 2 years! When one of them started leaking from around the pump's shaft, I called Chapin to get a replacement rubber end-piece (a circular piece of rubber that is located at the bottom of the pump). I spoke with tech support and was told that they don't sell the rubber piece by itself. They sell it as part of a kit that replaces several parts: 6-8244. Here is where things got bizarre: the kit costs $60.90 + $10 mailing fee when an entirely new unit costs $73.49. Essentially, repairing the pump would cost me the same as buying a new pump. Isn't that great?

Rated for strong agricultural vinegar
Large sprayer rated for agricultural vinegar so it shouldn't rot from the strong acid.Exactly as described. Longevity remains to be seen but works as expected right out of he box ( after assembly )If it lasts it will be perfect

Seals don't last
Not impressed. Spent 3x the money this time and still got leakage. The seals on this dispenser were no more durable than everyday big box brands. I only used it a handful of times and cleaned every piece of equipment thoroughly immediately after use. And remaining horticultural vinegar was poured back into original bottles, not stored in the Chapin canister. So for me their design and claims are false. Conclusion after 20 + years of using plastic dispensers -- don't buy plastic unless you desire frustration and disgust at the fraud in the industry. Spend the money and get professional steel equipment.

Well manufactured unit
I contacted the manufacturer outsie of Amazon and got excellent help and info. It arrived ahead of the suggested delivery date. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to do. The unit performs well and as described. Although the shape of the spray pattern is adjustable,it seems to spray a higher volume of liquid than necessary. The materials and design appear to be of high quality and quite durable.

Difficult swapping out the nozzle heads from come to fan
Not a smart design to easily allow swapping out the nozzle heads from cone to fan which often gets stuck. Also these swapping parts on the nozzle head are so extra tiny that they are not easy to handle quickly and easily. I can't imagine anyone having an easy time swapping cone/fan heads during yardwork. Didn't think they could make washers that small! Yard/garden product in particular should be designed with practicality in mind. Sad to say, this is totally lacking in this product. If you don't plan on swapping nozzle heads after initial assembly, then get it otherwise I do not recommended this product.

Don’t buy.
It disintegrated from the vinegar. This needs to be an all plastic produce. Any metal or rubber components don’t stand up to vinegar. Also way too expensive.
