Nice small tablets but powder residue does stain
This is a bag of 100 turmeric tablets. With a suggested dose of 1 tablet per day the bag will last over 3 months. The tablets are great value and even better with the bigger pack sizes. The best thing about these tablets is that they are so small, this makes them so easy to swallow. One thing to note is there is powder residue inside the bag and a very small amount on the tablet which did stain my fingers so would keep away from light coloured fabrics.

Easy to swallow, great value.
There is well over a years supply of turmeric pills in this flat pack package. What I particularly like about these pills is the size of them. I've previously taken turmeric in rather large capsules, but these are tiny. Much easier to swallow. I've read there are many benefits to taking turmeric, something I only ever used when making a curry. I can't swear by any noticeable improvements in my health and well being, but as someone in their sixties who plays football every week and goes on regular walks, I'm hoping they help me recover from my active lifestyle. They are also very good value

Perfectly legitimate stuff it seems.
I've been taking turmeric for a while now and they've always been quite large tablets or capsules. These are significantly smaller. However when you read the dosages and ingredients they still offer a fair amount. Perhaps I've been using oversized capsules before? These seem much the same size as most capsules. As I say I've been taking this stuff for a while now and I do feel they've helped a little with pain. It's not a miraculous difference but I do notice if I have forgotten to take them. As such these are one of the very few supplements I take daily. It's early days yet with these ones in particular. They arrive in a pouch that's sealed from factory. They're clearly labelled, have an expiry date and given clear instruction on how to take. Being as they're smaller than most tablets, they're even easier to take if you're the type that has issues in that department. They've not given me any aftertaste either. All in all they seem professionally produced, well packaged and I have had no issue with them at all.

400 tablets!
Turmeric 2620mg - 400 Tablets with Black Pepper and Ginger. This is a good pack size with 400 tablets. Each tablet measures approx. 7mm diameter and 3mm in depth, so round and quite small. I found that the pills left a yellow powder residue on your fingers when touching them. The recommended dosage is one tablet per day.I was pleased to see that these are suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. This packet has a long shelf-life, the expiry date is 1/2/2028.These pills contain 2500mg of Turmeric which is a high dose, as with all medication is it best to check that it is suitable for each individual before taking.

I don't really understand what's in these!
Curcumin, the active ingredient of turmeric, is a proven anti-inflammatory, and that's why it's a popular supplement. But the curcumin content in turmeric is very low - about 2 to 6%, according to the Arthritis Foundation. Therefore it's preferable to supplement directly with curcumin, extracted from turmeric, rather than turmeric itself.Unfortunately, this is where the confusion sets in. The product title mentions that they're NOT turmeric capsules, but 95% curcumin. The detailed product listing repeats the claim that they're 95% curcumin. If true, this would be excellent, as it would be a much more concentrated dose than occurs naturally in turmeric. But what actually turned up doesn't mention curcumin at all. It seems like just regular turmeric with black pepper and ginger. So either the product listing or the info on the packet must be wrong, as they can't both be right. Regular turmeric *can't have* 95% curcumin. It might have 6% if you're lucky! For that reason, I am unable to score these more highly, as I don't really understand what they are. I really want it to be 95% curcumin, but if it is, why isn't it accurately marketed as a curcumin supplement (NOT turmeric)? And why do the ingredients on the packet not even mention how much curcumin is in them, if it's such a key selling point? To be fair, this might be a good product. It's just not a CLEAR product, and I think that's especially important for health-related products, or anything I'm going to put in my body. The tablets are small and easy to swallow, with the classic yellow colour of turmeric.I do like the price, at just £5.29, but obviously, it rather depends on price for what. For 95% curcumin it would be excellent value.I also like that it's from a small British company, and manufactured in the UK to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.I hope they can sort out the ambiguity surrounding the ingredients, as I might get this again if I understood what I was buying!
