I’ll start with how it smelled in my oven— like a restaurant. Awesome.I sampled a smidge before coating fish, it had a nice balance of flavor. I am so nervous buying any bulk spice or seasoning that has salt, because typically they cheap out and make it way too salty. Not so here. It is the exact right amount.Heat? Right between where my wife and I like it, so a compromise. That’s about as good as it gets.I put blackening heavy on seafood, like a breading. This has an appropriate amount of caking/stick. It doesn’t immediately char, and maintains its flavor before and after cooking.For reference, I try a bunch of blackening seasonings and Cajun. It’s good, flavorful, good smell, and not too low of a flashpoint.
