Looking for a replacement I couldn’t believe the price Bose was asking for their ANC headphones which is now OLD technology. There are others available, but these looked like a good gamble with some good reviews. I mostly need these for noise suppression while mowing the grass on a riding mower.The grey/white color is a nice combination, the pads are super soft and are large enough to cover my ears. There are only three control buttons on these headphones, on/off and volume up/down. All functions are controlled from these depending on how you press the buttons (single, double, triple, short, long) and what the current function is.When you turn them on, the first thing they will do is search for a Bluetooth signal to connect to. IF you want to use these for just noise suppression (active or passive) without an audio source, you must wait until the light stops flashing indicating the end of the Bluetooth search. Then by double clicking the power button (fast, like you do with a mouse) you can turn the ANC on or off. When it’s off, the passive noise cancellation will be like cupping your hands over your ears. When ANC is on, it will noticeably lower the noise you hear, but not cancel it out completely – which is good because you want to hear if someone is trying to speak to you or if there is a noise that requires attention.When you put them on as indicated for Left/Right, the buttons will be on the right. I would have preferred them on the upper side of the headphones instead of the lower side as this causes an awkward position for my hand/wrist to press the buttons. I could still hear a hum from the mower while wearing these but raising the music volume a bit helped remove that distraction. Like other headphone pads, these super soft ones will also start to peel and/or tear, but I have yet to find a link for ordering same brand replacements.

I have owned many a pair of high dollar headsets and earbuds and I love these. They are extremely affordable and they sound as good and even better than some name brand headphones I've owned. One problem I have with some over the ear headphones is they make my ears hot, and then they start to itch. I don't have that problem with these. They are super comfortable. The only thing I haven't put to the test is the noise canceling function. I live alone and work from home so my environment is always quiet anyway. These are so nice I wouldn't hesitate to give them as a gift to a music lover or otherwise. If I ever have to go back to the office these will be going with me, they're as essential as my laptop or monitor. Additional colors would be nice, but not if it would raise the price.

Overall I was surprised how good these headphones are, they are not perfect but considering how much they cost they perform really well and for some people that will be enough. The sound quality is adequate and good enough to enjoy music and podcasts and the controls are easy to operate, the ANC works enough to dull distractions and the best thing for me about these headphones is how comfortable they are, this makes them ideal for watching TV or long listening sessions. My only negative with these is they look cheap and feel a bit cheap too, otherwise they are good headphones at an affordable price.

I am a headphones connoisseur. I grew up in Queens and went to a specialized high school in Brooklyn, a trip that took more than an hour and half each way. The only way to survive that was with some form of a portable music player (now phone) and headphones. After 30 years in the game, I know quality. These headphones are good quality. They sound great and hold a charge for hours. They look super awesome in the pale pink and decidedly high end. I not only recommend these five star headphones for anyone who needs a pair, I would recommend them as a gift. That's how nice they are. Anyone you buy these for will absolutely love them!

I'm sure some people will love this, but I just can't. The design is nice and I typically love over the ear headphones like these, but this just didn't do it for me. This looks slightly beats like which is why I got it but after using it for a little while I ended up with a massive headache because it was too tight around my head. I had the same issue not too long ago with a pair of over the ear headphones for gaming, these kind of headphones, if they're not wide enough, will be excruciatingly painful. So, if you have a large head, I'd say skip on these, unfortunately. One more thing is that the buttons do seem a little cheap. But I guess it's not terribly surprising as these are not top of the line headphones.
