Update 30/11/24: After having this for a couple of weeks and having only used it a few times the aluminium tube where the catch clicks into place has completely deformed meaning that the scooter will no longer stay up and so can't be ridden any longer. Have contacted Amazon for a solution but I think without welding a reinforcing section onto the tube or similar I think it's going to be a writeoff.I got this for my son to use to get to the bus from school instead of a heavy folding bike. It should do the job nicely but it does feel like the suspension is an unnecessary addition that just adds a bit of weight and complexity without really adding to the performance of the scooter. Overall it will do what I need perfectly well while weighing less than half that of the bike.

Wow...what a fantastic scooter!Whilst e-scooters are still not road legal, these manual scooters are still a great option to get round on. Whilst primarily aimed at bigger children or teens, this is still a capable transport option for adults to wizz around town on.This is really well built and quotes a capable weight of 100kg (just over 15 1/2 stones). That's likely enough for most adults to use it.Build quality is excellent. It arrives fully built, other than the bell and carry strap. A few basic tools are also included.This looks and feels sturdy. The larger wheels also help on bumpier roads or paths, with a built in suspension (necessary for a lot of paths my me, even the cycle lane is a challenge to use).The size is good. It won't look small on an adult, but can be reduced to suit a child.The biggest surprise is the disc brake on the rear. It's a premium feature. Considering the measley price of £67.99 at the time of review, this is an amazing value scooter. I can definitely recommend it.
