Sturdy and adjustable,super easy to put together,and it looks nice too!

this stool is for my art table...so far I've spent hours sitting on this drawing on my new table. wood top so it's a little hard, handle allows height to be changed up or down and it's sturdy with five rubber feet on floor. for the price it's a functional stool, no back support, but I wasn't looking for any when I picked this one. Overall good for it's intended purpose for a reasonable price. Thanks for reading my review, have a good one! -Mike

I got this via a warehouse deal so was prepared for it to possibly need refinishing but it only has a few little chips around the edges so it's not urgent (I will probably sand them down and give light wax treatment there to enhance the vintage look.) For 30 bucks this was a steal--really easy to assemble and quite comfy. Fits perfectly with the matching drafting desk and adjusts to the right heights for the table positioned flat or angled.Someone complained they cannot pick it up and carry it without the top falling off and I wonder if they didn't follow the instructions to remove the safety cap from the base before setting the seat on top of it. I have no problem with it staying together when I pick it up. It also has a nice bit of bounce when you first sit down so it doesn't feel as hard initially as stools usually do (this might be a minus for some people though.)I will update if it doesn't hold up (because I'll no doubt come back on amazon for a replacement lol) so you can safely assume it's still working for me if I haven't.

It's very easy to assemble, very sturdy. It's simple, but nice. It fits my needs exactly. Five stars.EXCEPT. The description claims that it extends to 26", which is exactly what I needed. Instead, when fully extended and weighted, it goes to 22.75" (as correctly labeled on the box it comes in). The three missing inches make a rather big difference for my specific purpose. I really want to take off more than one star for this, but honestly if you don't require an exactly 26"-tall stool, this is a good stool.

I was surprised, it is made very durable a looks cool too .I was very happy with this purchase.

I sit a lot for work and was getting pain from sitting in my regular office chair. This stool is great, the height adjusts easily and it is sturdy. I like that it allows (forces really) me to sit up straight and is improving my posture. Great product.

It's very disappointing because the chair is just so aesthetically pleasing and was perfect for my need.It looked and felt durable, but it's fatal flaw was cheap wood.The anchors stripped out of the seat (while I was sitting on it, which is kind of funny)I really wanted to avoid the stress of contacting the manufacturer and save the stool. I filled the stripped holes with epoxy and reinserted the anchors and screwed back on. This gave me one extra day with my stool before the anchors were stripped out again. I'm just an artist, not a carpenter.I dread having to call the manufacturer but hope they will help. It really sucks to pay $52 for a disposable stool.

very nice. I bought a different brand drafting table, I was going to buy the matching stool but then I saw this one and bought it instead. I am glad! its good quality for the price, has nice legs. very comfortable to sit on. And the mechanism for height adjustment is nice quality and works great.

Put it together as instructed and it won’t stay up. It such a good ‘bar stool’ when your guest is sitting basically on the ground. HUGE disappointment!!

I am amazed there is any stock left on these.
