Q: can you use on granite countertops?

To Cathleen W - How did you finally get it clear? I have that white film on my laminate countertop now from the Magic Eraser.

Yes! I have a stainless steal stove top and it works amazingly but I have used them on glass and then the painted metal. When I used it on the glass stove top, this particular stove top hadn't been cleaned in while and had tons of stuck on food! You can just use the magic eraser and then go over it again with your cleaner... If there's a lot of stuck on food, what I find works best is spraying the top with your cleaner or water to soften up the hard pieces and then using the magic eraser. I love using them on everything in the kitchen!

Q: is it recommendable to remove writing on the walls and such ?

It has worked well on pencil and crayon on my walls. If you have wallpaper on the walls do not wet the Mr. Clean too much.
