Great customer service and warranty.
4 stars for the product but an additional star for the customer service. Bought one of these about a year ago and loved it. small enough profile to fit into small spaces and do borescopes of engine cylinders. The picture quality was great, the dual lens and SD card slot very useful, as well as a good number of settings for a variety of situations. The LED with controllable brightness is great, however that failed about a year later. I reached out to their support email on their website with my Amazon order number and explained to them the situation along with picture proof that the LED was not working. They promptly responded and sent me a knew unit and followed up to make sure the replacement unit worked. The warranty is 24 months, and even the replacement is covered by the warranty. From initial email to receiving the replacement was about 3 days. The camera was cheap enough that I'd have likely just bought another, but the warranty and customer service is what stands out the most.

Depstech is great about backing their warranty
Just want to say I'm amazed how good the picture quality is on this device much better then Snap-On's Borescopes, but after a few months of use had a problem with the picture signal cutting out due to a short near the camera head. I but all gave up on it, then decided to contact the company on their web site and see if I could get a replacement part or send it in for service. To my surprise after sending a few pictures of the problem they promptly sent me a brand new replacment. I wasn't even aware they had a 2 year warranty, and am overwhelmed with how well they back their product. I will definity buy more equipment from Depstech.

Car guys will love!
I got it for my boyfriend who loves working on his car. He’s been wanting a scope so he can inspect deeper in his engine and what not.The screen is very clear and you can see amazing details with it.

Quality Guaranteed
Updated: 5.8.25: Seller reached out to me immediately and provided options for full refund or replacement for the uncommon issue I had. They have a 2 year warranty and fully stand behind their product. I have zero concerns ordering from them again. It appears the first unit I received was a one-off.Previous Review: Less than 3 months and the end of the wire near the camera has shorted out. The camera no longer works and displays “no signal” on the display. I spent more money on this specific camera thinking it would have better quality than others, but unfortunately that was not the case.

Best camera out there
The Depstech cameras are without the best value out there. The picture quality is awesome and they are very easy to use. The cables can be a bit long for my needs but I just keep the length I don’t need coiled up and work around it which is easy enough. I use the absolute crap out of them and have had the cables fail but the warranty is amazing and they have great communication during the process.

Saved time and energy!
Extremely satisfied with the camera picture size, resolution and functions. I used it to check for plumbing leaks and the endoscope worked perfectly with plenty of lighting to actually view some particular joints I was investigating. It saved me considerable time and energy and gave me reassurance that the problem I had encountered lay elsewhere!

Nice unit, but does not record in 1080p
This is a good unit, but it was advertised as 1080p video. It is not. It is only 720p video, which did not meet my needs. I returned this model, but ended up buying the DS 700 model, which does record video at 1080p. The cost was about double, but still just over $100, so totally worth it. The quality difference between the two models is night and day. This unit recorded 720p at 20fps, and produced a .avi file (which does not import into Resolve, so I had to file convert to an mp4 file.) The DS 700 records at 1080P, 25 fps, and produces a .mov file, which does import into Resolve. If you don't need to record video, then this unit will be fine, but if you want 1080p video, get the DS 700 instead.
