Great to add texture

Emulsion paint roller sleeves
They were bought to help paint over a repaired and patched area of plaster which worked well

Not great
Expand a lot when using, to the point where the sponge becomes detached from the sleeve. I want the texture so have persevered but you have to work really fast before they come apart.

Not fit for purpose
Not fit for purpose. The roller actually achieves the correct finish, it just doesn’t last long enough. The outer foam comes away from the plastic tube inside after a small amount of use. I ended up using all 4 do paint a small outside wall when 1 should have done the job.

One time use and messy
The internal spindle only covers about 2/3rds of the length of the roller. After a short while, the end piece beyond the internal spindle starts to wobble about and eventually falls off, this leaves you with a 6vm roller!! Be warned, these types of rollers spray paint all over the place!! They are defo 1 or 2 time use, unless you are just doing a small amount of painting.
