So impressed!!! I have VERY dark brown hair & the color was very very vibrant, it dosen't smell like crazy chemicals either. Best part is- while it does rub off on EVERYTHING (its kinda dust like thay clings to things, so like tubing mascara kinda) it washes off almost instantly. I used 2 cans for my whole head(i have long hair and layers) and it came out with 2 rinses of shampoo 10/10

Bought this for my daughter because she wants to be Merida (Brave) for Halloween. We did a test run tonight, and it worked as expected. The color is bright even on my daughter’s medium brown hair. I will try not to spray her part next time because it looked weird with an orange stripe on her skin. Her hair basically felt like cotton candy, but again, you expect that with spray hair color. The smell isn’t bad, it just smells like old lady perfume, lol. We didn’t let it dry all the way, so I’m not sure if it will get all over everything when dry, but it definitely gets all over everything when wet. I would definitely suggest spraying it outside. I will be buying another can since I don’t think one can will color all of her hair, especially after the test run.

Although I like the color, its not yellow. Its more of a neon green when applied to hair. Its glows in the dark which is why I gave it 4 stars because glowing in the dark is epic. Especially for my kids when they go to dances at school. We wash it out of their hair that same night. I have older kids 9 and up. They do really well with this. Sprays like hair spray but you do have to use a lot of the can to get a good amount of the color to appear. I would buy it again when I need it.

I read several reviews that indicated this colored very well over darker hair, I figured it would be pretty great over my light brown hair....it was okay, I didn't want full coverage anyway, but the product applied in a fairly thin stream that made even, moderate coverage difficult.My biggest complaint is how awful it makes your hair feel. I have 2C curly hair and I used this for a cosplay because I thought it would be better than trying to shove all of my hair in a wig and not pull out my curls the way a non-spray temp dye would (I needed to wash it out that night, so temporary was necessary). My hair looked fine before spraying---it looked dry, frizzy, damaged, and gross immediately after spraying. In addition to making my hair generally feel gross, I had to set it with more hairspray, which was recommended to prevent bleeding. This barely helped prevent the dye from getting on other surfaces. I have long hair, I wanted to wear it down, every time I touched my hair to move it, I would get red dye on my hands. Red dye also got on the shirt I wore with my costume. Luckily there was no permanent damage to my hair, but it felt so gross and really impacted my enjoyment of the convention I was attending since I was constantly worrying about getting red dye on everything.Application is also messy. Luckily I have a cement floor that I'm not concerned about keeping pretty because it's easy to clean. This spray comes out of the can super fast in a fairly narrow stream---not like canned hairspray. I will note that the 1 star I allow it is genuine--- I have A LOT of hair. I was able to get light coverage on the top layer of my hair with about 1.5 cans of spray. It is also *kind of* easy to remove. I had to try washing my hands various times during the convention just to remove hair dye. If I used water alone (from my water bottle and a towel) it was a struggle to remove. If I used soap, it came off fairly easy. It did come out of my hair in the shower, but it took a very long time (again, lots of hair). If you must use this product and have curly hair, I recommend deep conditioning after washing it out.

I had ordered a Reecho 12-in ponytail hair extension and I've been trying to let my gray hair grow out but my own hair didn't match the color of the platinum hair piece so I ordered this platinum hairspray and it worked perfectly. I couldn't get over how well it made my own here match with the hair piece I bought. And unlike other root cover up sprays I've tried that leaves your hair so stiff this actually left your hair soft not hard as a rock. So I really recommend this.

I was happy that the color actually showed up in my daughter’s brown hair. I wasn’t expecting the overwhelming “old lady” smell. This product didn’t rub off on other fabric (pillow case, etc), it lasted at least 24 hrs but did fade a bit. Despite applying it in a walk-in shower, some color was tracked onto my carpet and it came out very easily. It does not seem to stain. It takes MULTIPLE washes to remove it from hair (child’s hair that hasn’t been colored, etc), came off of skin/scalp with only a couple washes. The smell is very very strong and lasts until the last speck of product is removed. Hair seems more rough after using this, so you might need a good conditioner after the fact. I was glad I bought 2 bottles of each color we needed because it takes a lot to get decent coverage. And it was nowhere near the solid color pictured on the can.As with any product like this, it was very stiff. We washed, dried, and applied the product. Then combed, curled, and styled which helped a lot. It was still stiff, but much more smooth and looked more like hair chalk.

This spray worked really well for my Ms. Frizzle costume. I almost didn't buy it after reading some reviews, but I'm so glad I did. The color was very bright and washed off of everything and out of my dark hair easily. It does have a fragrance, but I didn't find it unpleasant at all.My tips:Style your hair first and spray color last. Spray it outside. I held a trash bag against my outfit and skin and moved it around as I sprayed to keep everything neat then threw the bag away after. Don't touch after you spray as the color does come off easily.
