Very nice pack, excellent padding
I travel a lot for work so I use a laptop backpack exclusively. This one is a very nice replacement for my old one which has logged many miles. Like other laptop backpacks, this has a ton of compartments, but this one is better than most because each compartment and sleeve is extensively padded. So you can have a laptop in the main compartment and a tablet in the inner sleeve and know that they are not going to bang against each other. A couple of things I really like: 1.) The laptop area is accessed from the top of the bag. Most other laptop backpacks I’ve used have a side access zipper. Top access is better when your bag is stored beneath the airline seat in front of you. 2.) I also appreciate that there is ample padding at the bottom of the bag which is sometimes overlooked by other laptop backpack designs. The bottom padding is important because the bag gets put down on its bottom all the time, and sometimes on hard floors. The only downside I see with this bag is that the bottom is covered in fabric. It will be fine, but I think rubberized bottoms are better just because these laptop backpacks get set down on the ground a lot. It is a point of wear and tear. Overall, very nice bag!

Poor craftsmanship
Wow, i've had this one month, taken it on exactly 2 trips and already the stitching on the shoulder strap is coming undone. WTH?! Love the design, but the craftsmanship on mine is obviously poor. And i only have one month to return on amazon? Now i have to submit pics and all sorts of info to the company direclty to HOPEFULLY get this problem that they created fixed. Ugh!!!!

Great For College
Amazing backpack. Bought it for college and what I love the most is the durability and the many pockets and compartments that it has.

Nice bag for business purposes, not a comping backpack though.
This is a big, puffy backpack. For business use it will more than fit the bill. I usually use my backpacks for airline carry on as the personal item to go under the seat. It will be interesting to see how this one fits, I’m thinking getting it under the seat will be a bit of a challenge. The side pockets tend to make the bag less compactible than any of my other computer backpacks. This bag is designed to keep it essentially box like shape, and while great for files, computers, and books, it will make it less flexible for mushing under a seat. Empty it measures 7” front to back all the way up and down the bag, it’s 18” tall from the bottom to the top of the handle, and the width at the widest part is 16’, the narrowest section is 13’. It’s a big backpack. My favorite part is the mesh sleeve on the back that will hold it firmly on a rolling suitcase handle. I try to jerry rig that on my bags and they always fall off at the most inconvenient times. This one will not move, and that alone will make the expected battle to get it under an airplane seat more than worth it. It has more compartments, pockets, and holders than anyone could ever need including for example: business card slots, calculator pocket, and even pen holders. The bag should be able to keep anyone organized.A couple of things that weren’t so good: the fabric was fine, but the rest of it feels more like rubber than leather, and to me makes it feel cheap. I also noticed that there was no area which had extra padding on the bottom to protect a laptop against falling. Most laptop briefcases have a pocket with added padding on the sides and bottom. Not this one. Even the tablet sleeve while padded on the side, had no added padding on the bottom to protect the edges if you set the pack down by dropping it on the floor. To me the lack of padding is a major oversight. Yeah the bottom of the bag itself is padded, but my computers always tend to gravitate to the edges where the seams are, and the padding there is very thin. A dedicated pocket with its own padding is a normal feature on most quality bags marketed as laptop bags, and this bag suffers from not having it.Other than my focus on padding, which may be a bit extreme, and the rubbery feel of parts of the bag, it is a fine backpack. If I can’t get it under an airline seat I will update the review, but as it stands now I would recommend it for business use for sure.

Very good backpack
Very good backpack for a frequent airplane traveller. The bag is small enough to fit in the overhead compartment of smaller planes (Dash 8, Q400). It has lots of compartments inside and outside. I wish the four side pockets had double zippers to open them in any position, but they only have single zippers. The quality is quite good but not excellent. I recommend this backpack, it serves me well, however I will look for a bigger one with tougher fabric (e.g. ballistic nylon) next time.
