Eufy E340 battery
I got this for my eufy 340 doorbell. I don't know if the same battery is used for other products they sell. The battery has a usb c port built into it with a cover. To charge just plug it into the included cable and the usb A end of the cable into a relatively recent 5v 3A usb phone charger (or any of the hundreds of chargers that amazon sells that can output in that range). There is a tiny led on the front, red for charging and green when complete. It took like two and a half hours to charge the battery and I don't know how much charge was on it when it was received. The battery must be installed regardless of whether your doorbell is wired into your house wiring, at least currently this is so. Glad I got the second battery, turns out I am getting a couple weeks off a battery while using the balanced setting in the doorbell settings. If I turned off motion detection completely I'd get more life but I like using it for the package detection and notification so in case there's any question about a delivery I've got the video of the delivery person.

Having a spare is very convenient
Love having a second battery for myFront door camera. When the battery dies, I can switch it out without losing the ability to record while waiting for the original battery to be charged.

Much needed for backup
This is simply a battery so the motion detection rating is useless. It is easy to change out but it takes a long time to charge. Much needed if your video doorbell is not hard wired because the battery lasts only about 60 days and a backup makes it easy to keep it going without down time.

An absolute must have!
Essential to avoid downtime while charging.About charging the battry, the new USB-C chargers will "negotiate" with the battery as to what can be supplied. In the simplest sense, the device "asks" for power and the charger "responds" with what it is allowed to deliver. Current is drawn, not pushed. If the charger's amps exceed what a device allows, the device will only draw and the charger will only supply what the device limit allows, regardless of how powerful the charger. For the eufy Rechargeable Battery Backup Model T8743 for the eufy Video Doorbell T8340, the battery specifications are:Nominal Voltage 3.6V⎓; Limited Charging Voltage 4.2V⎓; Input 5V⎓ 2 Amps; The eufy battery limits the input to 5V 2Amps.eufy rates the charge time from 1% to 100% takes 5 hours.A 100 Watt Charger will not charge the device faster than the device allows.(Note: Symbol for Direct Current ⎓ )My video doorbell traffic is light or infrequent, so I do not often view the eufy app battery status. To alleviate concern about battery charge status, I swap the battery once a month. For me, that is on the 15th, regardless of the battery status, and I have not had any downtime.

It’s a Battery
Needed a second so I don’t have to wait for charging before the door camera works so I grabbed this. Charged fine (let it go for at least 8hrs). Seems to be working fine and longevity seems about the same. I’ll have to monitor and see if there are issues like some have mentioned.
