Perfect Upgrade
I was lucky to buy 4TB WD BLACK during Black Friday sales, definitely value for money. The speed is amazing compared to the 2TB CRUCIAL P5 PLUS, which is what I had prior to purchasing I have a digital version of the PS5 Slim. It’s definitely a must! Worked absolutely fine, easy to install, heat level seems reasonable, prefect compatibility with the PS5.

Perfect for upgrading my PS5 Memory
Easy to fit once I had gotten the PS5 case open which was a little tough - probably more that I was worried I'd break it - the instructional video was simple and explained how to fit the WD_BLACK SN850P 4TB PS5 SSD.PS5 recognised and formatted it no problem.Read speed came up as 6535 MB/s not quite the 7300 - but it works fine.The PS5 might run a little hotter than it did, but I have an external cooling fan so no dramas.

Works and simple to install
Im still shocked at the price as it’s essentially like buying the console again, but putting that aside I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to install. The Sony PS website has a support page with videos that shows you how to do this. Just needed a small screwdriver and it took only a couple of minutes. Upon restarting the PlayStation it installed itself in a couple of minutes and then I could use the data storage settings in the PlayStation menu to move my saved games to the storage drive - looking forward to using my plantation without constantly having to delete and archive data.
