VILTROX EF-L Pro Lens Mount Adapter with Security Lock,Auto Focus Ring Adapter Compatible with Canon EF/EF-S Lens to L Mount Camera Leica SL2/Lumix S1 S1H S5/Sigma fp L

Tried a few different lens mount adapters and this one finally gives me full electronic data with both EF and Sigma lenses.

This is ideal and well worth the price. Just remember to adjust the inner back focus ring that works with your specific lens and camera body. It may take trial and error because you have to take the speed booster off each time you make an adjustment or you can YouTube videos for Viltrox back focus adjustments for your specific camera body/lens combo. You may get lucky and someone’s posted a “how to” just for you.

Has a solid build quality. Metal outside that really doesn't match any of the lenses I tried on it except the Sigma 50 1.4 Art. Tried a few lenses such as the Canon 24-70 2.8L II, Tamron 70-200 2.8VC, Canon 85 1.4L, and Sigma art mentioned above and they all worked fine with decent to good autofocus speed on a friends X-H1.Need to do further testing with more lenses, but as it is it's been decently good on testing. Not as fast as native glass, but it's neat being able to use some of my favorite EF lenses while also trying out the Fuji film emulation.

Unfortunately, I misplaced the box so I don't think I can return this adapter, but has not worked on any lens that I own. I have tried it on 4 Canon and 2 different Sigma and a Tamron lens. I also tried 3 different cameras. With the adapter on my cameras the lenses cycle and only go to the minimum focus. If I used a zoom lens, it would try to focus and not quite focus on the first try if the lens is at the widest setting. After that, the lens would not focus. On fixed focal length lenses, the focus would cycle, but never reach focus. I also tried different combinations with the autofocus switches on the lenses and the camera bodies. I had no luck.Then I tried to update the firmware, went to the website and was forced to download an app on my phone and would only add a device by searching for the adapter using bluetooth. This adapter does not have bluetooth, neither does my camera. So I could not update the lens software. I've already uninstalled the app and left a review, stating that I believed the app was spyware. I wish I could give zero stars for this product review.I'm willing to try a different adapter if Viltrox wants to send me another to try, but I'm not sure my experience would be any different. Like I said, I can't find my box so I'm not sure I can return the lens adapter. I think I'm just screwed. caveat emptor.

Attached a PL zoom on to a Sony FX3 with this adapter. The rotary locking ring was more secure than standard click-lock styles, and there was no wobble or shift once secured. Focus accuracy was maintained throughout the range without any visible play. Good value and does the job without any issues!

It's a very good adapter. I got it about US$50 cheaper and the company had to send two, after UPS mislaid the first one.I"ve been using it with a Tamron 180mm f/3.5 macro lens on a Panasonic S5 Mk II. It works just fine. However, none of these adapters of any brand seem to have an aperture ring. You can control everything through the camera, however.I can't confirm that the Optical Image Stabilization works because this lens doesn't have that, but aperture control and auto focus work just fine.

I purchased the booster to use with my Canon EOS R along with the RF 24-105 4.0L lens. It lowers the f stop to 2.8 which is huge in low light shooting. I could not be happier. It is great to get the extra stop of light. I am going to purchase another for my other EOS R body.
