I bought this for my girl who is really hard on herself, the stories are fun and relatable. There's some typos but it didn't impact the message.

I am 7. I think this was a wonderful book My granddaughter is 7 and it perfect for her. She is a very good reader she is on a 3rd grade level reading level in 1st grade. She had no problems with the vocabulary. We loved the stories; we found them to be very interesting and inspiring. Looking forward to getting her more.

This is more of a storybook to read aloud to kids, the text may be too difficult for a 7-year-old to read, because they are in paragraphs, like in story form. So adults should read the book to kids. There are different stories told by different kid narrators each with a lesson that kids can use and the lessons can even apply to adults! My kids enjoy each story when read before bedtime! There are nice illustrations integrated in the stories, however, the book is not a picture book per se, and the illustrations are in black and white. Our personal favorite is the story about the stray cat!

I love this idea! Perfect for little girls. Telling multiple stories was a great choice to show the range of the characters' qualities. They're all different but amazing in their own ways. The introduction is a lovely message, and the little drawings throughout are quite cute.
