Manic PanicAmplified Cream Formula, Vampire Red, 118 ml

I purchased this dye to add a bit of color for a weekend festival and loved it. I used the dye over unbleached medium brown hair and it came out a lovely bright purple/red color! I have fine hair about mid-shoulder and used half the bottle to cover the whole head so you really do get your money's worth.I didn't follow the instructions on the bottle for dyeing, I followed the ones on the website instead. I washed my hair with Herbal Essence color me happy shampoo, then blowdryed it most of the way dry. I put vaseline around my hairline on my skin (but not on the hair) to help prevent staining on my face. I applied using a comb and worked half the bottle into my hair. I put it all under a shower cap and left it for an hour and a half. After an hour and a half I applied heat by blowdrying for half an hour. Then I rinsed in cold water until it ran mostly clear. I rinsed for about an hour before it was only tinted with pink so it takes awhile! It does rinse out a little each wash, but I haven't noticed any staining on my clothes or pillowcases. I also didn't have any staining on my face or hands.After the dye it made my hair feel really soft and healthy. I've been washing my hair every three days or longer if I can get away with it to try to make it last. Would definitely recommend!

Already had a red hair from using another product previously but this gave me a much more vibrant, deep (not dark) more intense colour!All red dye I have ever used whether it be permanent or semi permanent runs in every wash, I tend to wash my hair in cool/cold water!!I prepare for rain and warm days as any red dye leaves traces/runs, I use a black pillow cases and black/navy towels and just being extra careful on application & washing, no noticeable scent and always use gloves to apply, I only wear dark clothing (preference to any hair colour) my hair is left silky soft and shiny 👌🏼

Loved this product, easy to apply. Couloir was vibrant and lasted very well. My only negative was it runs if you get caught in the rain or a sweaty training session 😬

After having an incident with hair bleach a couple of years ago, I have not touched the stuff since.I do love dying my hair, especially with vibrant colours but it always seemed like I had to bleach it before hand. After checking out the Manic Panic website, I had seen that someone had used this colour on unbleached hair and the result was fantastic.I have been purchasing this shade for a good 6 months now and not used bleach once. Red hair requires a lot of maintenance but this shade is worth it and the quality it great everytime.It is also a vegan product for those who are interested.I recommend using this on unbleached hair, and keeping it in for about 1-2 hours depending on how you feel. I personally wrap my hair in cling film and apply heat from time to time before washing it out.

First of all, this hair colour is beautiful. I absolutely love it. However I have encountered some problems with it.1. The pot is a lot smaller than anticipated. I originally ordered one tub of dye, when it got delivered I realised I'd need more. I bought another two tubs of dye. I only ended up needing two tubs of dye. My hair is extremely thick and of medium length, so I was quite happy with this.2. It stains everything it touches. You need to be really careful when using this dye as it will magically end up on something. When it came to washing it off, it stained my bath tub and I had to bleach it, it came off in the end (after a lot of hard work). Also, the back of my neck was stained for days, no matter how much I scrubbed I could not get it off of my skin.3. I wouldn't recommend washing your hair in the bath. I did and I ended up staining the bath - yet again, and also staining my skin. I had to have a shower afterwards and get my partner to help me scrub my skin.4. It leaks everywhere. Do NOT sleep with white pillow cases or a white duvet; you're just asking for disaster. I also noticed that some of my tops are stained at the back where my hair sits. Also, while styling my hair, the dye stains my hands.

In my opinion, if you wanna be a redhead, you can't without this product.I'm doing my roots every 2 months with permanent hair dye, and every 2 weeks the rest of the hair with manic panic just to revive the colour, and it does it well!It's a very bright and deep colour, and it lasts for ages.Tips : 1. Try to rinse with cold water, hot water will only wash the colour away after a few washes.2. Use gloves and be careful as it stains. everything.
