I really like these chalkboard labels. Pack contains six sheets of the illustrated eight designs.Five stars for : The labels themselves peel easily off their backing card. and they're a fairly rough surfaced black vinyl label.Five stars for: Although they're designed for a chalk pen, I'm using plain chalk, and that works really well.Five stars for: The labels adhere strongly to a glass container. But they'll stick to any dry, non porous surface.Five stars for: Re-sealable. Will peel off without pulling or tearing (if you're careful) and can be reapplied if not on straight.All you need to do is to write the required name on the label whilst its still on its backing sheet, peel it off and place it on the jar.If you haven't got it on straight, or it might look better higher or lower, it can be carefully peeled off for readjustment.But when it's on, it forms a good bond. It's versatile enough to be peeled off, and be reapplied to something else.If the adhesive fails after being re-sited often, a good replacement adhesive is pritt-stick.I'm currently using mine on the 'Le parfait' jars (similar to Kilner), but they'd be perfect for Kilner jars too.Lakeland do a Le Parfait jar with a bonded chalkboard label on like these, but those jars are huge - my smaller ones are the best size for my pantry shelves and these labels will also be exactly right for the glass coffee jars with the glass stoppers.These chalkboard labels will make your storage jars a pleasure to look at.I usually keep basic stuff like different rice types, sugars, flours, dried pulses, nuts & dried fruits, herbs and spices etc out on the kitchen shelves so they're to hand for easy use.These labels have made my jars and their contents look much more organised, and look lovely in 'farmhouse' kitchens. Even OH was admiring them, although I think he might have been eyeing up my 'spares' to label his various boxes of gardening or fishing clutter.

I LOVE these labels, I put them on jars in our kitchen. There are a few variations of labels, which I prefer - some chalk labels only had one design in their package. I am giving four stars as it does not come with chalk.

These are lovely and they do exactly what they should, but I was looking for smaller labels and the sizes given in the Q&A aren't anywhere near accurate. In actual fact, they're 8cm wide and 5cm high, so base your purchasing decision on those sizes, rather than the ones given.

Ok but quite flimsy which means they crease easily if not putting on a completely flat surface. I bought mine to go on jars in the kitchen but ended up throwing some away as they wouldnt stick on flat. not as thick or durable as others i have bought

I absolutely love these labels. I've used them on large jars and I've also used them to stick on the back of the door to label all the different keys for around the house. I used a chalk pen to also draw little pictures on them (eg. A cupcake for the flour jar) and it wipes off with a damp cloth if you need to reuse the labels

I bought two lots of this. Chalk goes on ok, however not the most durable. Good size labels, better than other offers available.
