The hole for the head phone jack is a bit on the small size. And as others have noted, can't access the SD slot unless you remove it. Otherwise fits great!

I have an older phone that has battery issues so can not do much on it before I have to recharge it. I decided to give this MP3 player a try even though some of the reviews said you could not do podcasts on it. My main goal was to find something to broadcast podcasts. I discovered you can get a free membership to Spotify and get many podcasts as your favorites and they download on a regular basis. There is a sleep timer on the Spotify app. Learning to operate it has been challenging, but doable. My other goal was listening to books and discovered I can not only do Audible but also Libby. You can download your books for when you are not on WiFi. When on WiFi they have Chrome app so you can listen to You Tube and the like. Battery last a really long time. The big plus is it has an FM radio that picks up great. You must use wired earpods as an antennae, but you can just plug in the earpods for the antennae and use your bluetooth device to listen at the same time. Love this little device. I would recommend it and wouldn't change a thing. I bought a case in the event I dropped it. All is good.

Needed a solution for a tween that would allow Apple Music and Spotify but would allow me to remove all other apps, but also lock the device to prevent the kids from reinstalling anything, and even prevent them from factory resetting, which prevents them from using anything meaningful other than the calculator and calendar, and some other things that couldn't be removed. So far, it's held up, and we haven't heard a single complaint ... coming from the picky hands this landed in, that's saying a lot.Durability-wise, we're going on month 3. I did buy a skin-style case for it, and a zip-up case. The latter went into a junk drawer promptly, and the skin as remained installed. I'll tell you, the screen is showing some signs of marring from bouncing around in a tween's backpack, but hasn't cracked yet. No issues so far with failures, lockups, and we only needed to force a reboot once the first week we had the product, but we never rebooted after uninstalling all the apps except music stuff, so maybe that's our fault.I'd highly recommend this to other parents who need a solution to allow their kids access to streaming music, streaming books, but don't want their kids using web browsers, hitting YouTube or other video sites. Sure, you could leave that on there but ... meh. Since Apple - who I'm a huge fan of - doesn't seem to care about parents enough to offer adequate ways to restrict what kids use .... Android to the rescue.

Honestly, just here to clarify that it ABSOLUTELY DOES fit the G3 player. I just put it on mine with no issues at all. The openings are a little small, so a fingernail to press the buttons helps, but any bigger opening or thinner case and you would lose some of the protection factor. It does cover the sd card slot with no opening but I will probably never remove that and if I do need to, it's not so hard to peel back the case to do so. Pair this with their glass screen protector (which is awesome in itself) and you have a good solid protection case for your player. Recommend!

Disappointing. Within a few months, I had to reboot every night to view the top of the page. By a year and a half, could only hear volume in one ear even though I changed earbuds, and even bought new ones. Junk.
